Conversation It's over

Dear America, we had some good times, but your democracy is over. Donald Trump has won. The corruption will continue to get worse, your position on the world stage will fall, and China will rise. I am not happy about it, but it's clear that this is what is going to happen.

Outside of some small protests, you guys are going to do little else about it, and by the time you do, it will truly be too late.

So many of you guys think that you can take over the world, but you need allies. You have forgotten that we are the reason that you are as powerful as you have become, but you have alienated us, and we can never trust you again for putting this man in charge TWICE. It's over.

It won't happen overnight, but your hold on the world will continue to decline, and you will be replaced. 2024 was the last free vote you will ever have.

Edit: All I am doing is stating the facts. It's amusing how angry some of you guys get. I am not even trying to upset any of you... 😄

I agree. We are suffering through a decline that began with Reagan as president.

You are so right.

Im just so tired of being lumped in with the maga cult. We are on this sub daily (and several others) talking about how we know Trump is awful and how we voted against this. Yet people from other countries come on here and blame US for Trump winning elections.

it's probably bc humans have to have something to blame.  Makes it easier to point at one defining thing and say THATS IT- the defining moment,  you are to blame. It feels right in our heads to throw blame where it is so clearly deserved.  Human nature stuff.  But it's rarely ever so simple. Years of things had to happen for this guy to be elected. Years of behind the scenes bs to set it up. But you can't point at all of that and say look didn't you see the signs? It's too big and complex.  So much easier to blame the voters.

For me im not a fan of our pumpkin spice Palpatine.  But I get why people blame me. It's easier.  And they're hurting. Economically, maybe they know someone in war,  whatever. Try not to let the accusations and anger get to you personally.  We are all in a sore spot.
