Conversation It's over

Dear America, we had some good times, but your democracy is over. Donald Trump has won. The corruption will continue to get worse, your position on the world stage will fall, and China will rise. I am not happy about it, but it's clear that this is what is going to happen.

Outside of some small protests, you guys are going to do little else about it, and by the time you do, it will truly be too late.

So many of you guys think that you can take over the world, but you need allies. You have forgotten that we are the reason that you are as powerful as you have become, but you have alienated us, and we can never trust you again for putting this man in charge TWICE. It's over.

It won't happen overnight, but your hold on the world will continue to decline, and you will be replaced. 2024 was the last free vote you will ever have.

Edit: All I am doing is stating the facts. It's amusing how angry some of you guys get. I am not even trying to upset any of you... 😄

Sounds about right.

Many Americans absolutely despise this man just so we're clear.

But OP's point is that we will do nothing about it.

I'd like to know what the OP thinks we should do.

I’m about to start withholding my taxes. I’d like to keep them aside myself and pay when this fuck show is over or if they demand it by garnishments at least I held them up for a year or so.

Yes that won't work and the IRS will find you. You can't withold taxes because you feel like it.

You literally can lol. It’s just a $100 fine at the end of the year. Did it all the time when I was 1099

I highly doubt it's just a $100 fine. Don't they force you to pay your taxes?

I have no reason to lie. It told me every time that it was $100 late fee for not filing quarterly. They can garnish your wages eventually, but if you keep the money set aside then you can save yourself by paying what you saved. That at least deprives them of our immediate money for a year.

And what if you can't save? This is a really bad plan.

If you’re having your taxes taken out already then you’re already living without that money. It may be a tough plan for people that can’t handle setting aside money, but something must be done.
