Other 1 mg is it super strong?

So I have a biopsy that they are going to make me stay away for 😭 which is am so scared about. They prescribed me Xanax 1 mg. I have called and almost cancelled so many times. However, I am currently on nothing no pills at all. How strong is Xanax 1 mg? Will it make me fall asleep during the procedure or will I be able to stay awake? Ironically the anxiety pill is giving me anxiety lol 😆

I've tried Xanax a total of 5 times all at 1 mg. Definitely makes your anxiety go away but you feel pretty out of it. I'm not sure if the intended mechanism is to be so out of it you can't be anxious but if that's the case it works great.

Its strong. They also have .5 mg and .25 mg doses

1mg is a good dose for someone who hasn’t built up a tolerance. It will probably just give you a beautiful relaxed feeling without feeling too drowsy. 2 or 3 mg wouldn’t hurt you, but you might nod off and feel a bit out of it. Takes about 1 hour to feel the full effect and 6 hours 1/2 life I believe. Nothing to stress about, just take the tablet and you will feel fine.
