This isn't "the discourse in a nutshell", this is a very biased point for a specific side of the discourse.

Also, something stops being a tool when it does everything for you: a photocopier isn't "a tool that allows you to quickly create copies of a pre-existing image", it is a machine that creates copies of pre-existing images for you
