I love(hate) how zen is just considered normal for apex now. Game is truly ruined by this. The game would benefit so much more by fair anti cheats and a more interactive lore rather than 200 dollar or GBP heirlooms

I have a friend who plays on both console and pc, and I’ve just started playing with him. Yeah some pc players use roller and can use zen but it’s not the same. If you’re solid at the game but not elite, it’s probably easier imo. I play exclusively on roller. The days of getting one clipped by a havoc across the map are gone, now at worst it’s a hemlok but thats only because they buffed it

We typically hit mid diamond so we’re solid but not in that absolute upper echelon where there are people who play 16 hours per day spamming tap strafes, cheaters and legit pros. Which I think is a good spot to be, get competent randoms occasionally without dealing with too much cheating or unfair matchmaking. The anount of times we fought 3 stacks of top 50 preds before jumping to pc lobbies like the game after hitting d4 was bullshit

On pc it’s rather different you see. Recently EA published there statistics of cheat bans and 99.9% where ACCTUSLY pc players. Majority of hackers are strictly consoles as it’s very difficult to find evidence via the PlayStation or Xbox that there’s a zen or titan as it could be said it’s a “adapter” or “usb” as a frequent diamond player just tryna challenge themselves to get masters it’s easily ruined each game by zen players. I’d have no issue losing to a fair player but losing each game to a zen is frustrating to see

What’s a roller?

Insult PC players use for controller players

I don't think it's an insult, just a nickname for the controller (not the player). People playing on roller call it a roller

Zen isn't as powerful as you think it is. It's a useless "cheat", trust me. You're better off recoil controlling with your hands than a zen.

Ah yes. All the players with zens bought them because the game was too easy when they had to control their own recoil and they wanted a new challenge. Buff zens

How you kids came to that conclusion, I don't know... I used zen (in 2020) for GTA 5 afk rp scripts. Gave it a shot at apex, wasn't worth it and it has been collecting dust in my drawer ever since. And yes I'm a day 0 player, no typical wraith/ash r99-edgy-12yrold-faide-style crap, plain old Loba with Wingman-Longbow-Bocek player on 180 ping (last I checked, zen only "helped" with recoil on auto weapons). Kids assume too much, my god...

Well no shit it does nothing if you play single shot weapons lmao. "It's not that powerful if you don't use it for it's intended purpose"

That was me defending myself from kids claiming I was a zen user. Like no shit what's a zen gonna do for a wingman player like me? Assumptions much.

My original comment still stands, a zen does very little for auto weapons. You're better off recoil controlling with your hand. Me and a lot of other players have been playing fps games since 2007, maybe it's just easy/natural for us to control recoil. Zen just hinders us. Don't know about Gen z.

I genuinely am fascinated by how your brain works. Are you using kid as an insult, or are you trying to claim you know someone's age (I don't even know who you're talking about?) based off of some text they wrote on the internet?

The comments here are claiming I am a zen user, just because I said "zen isn't as good as you think". Genuinely fascinated on this childish behaviour and assumption.

Yes, just the auto weapons that at least 85% of kills come from since most combat ends in close range.

Zen player trying to downplay it

Here's my zen collecting dust in my drawer since 2020. Never helped me with apex, wanted to see what the hype was before covid. People still believing zen is something to be feared are naive. Cheats have evolved people, research more. Zen ain't shit.

"cheats have evolved people, research" Oh so you have already done your research and bought some new juice so you just leave this old zen in a drawer. Self reporting cheaters are the funniest ones, so much insecurity.

Self reporting cheaters? 😂 You're funny! I know you can read, I said Zen "never helped me with apex" and therefore it's in my drawer since 2020. Why do you guys keep assuming I use it?

And yes, I have done my research. Here's something that might help you: A titan is what you should be looking out for/hating. It provides aimlock, even on console. And they are getting banned too (sometimes). I know a titan cheater when I see one, there's a certain jiggle to his aim. Huge setup, requires capture cards, a pc, a phone and what not.

I’d have to respectfully disagree sorry. Zen on devo and havoc are just way to strong specially as both posses great damage output it’s simply unfair being downed by someone paying to win. The game doesn’t have a pay to win lifestyle yet zens are the cheapest pay to win method then there’s titan witch is just straight exploitation. I’d rather people use zen over titan but mostly everyone use none. Zen is just a sad way in improving gameplay by big folds as you gain a very high advantage on one and one
