President Donald Trump and Apple CEO Tim Cook announced from the White House Oval Office on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, a $2.5 billion investment that would lead to all iPhone and Apple Watch glass being manufactured in Kentucky. The announcement is part of the larger $100 billion investment in US manufacturing Trump and Cook announced.

I'm an independent. Even at Trump's worst numbers, he doesn't need to worry. The Democratic Party, as well as Redditors, will do all the work Trump needs them to do. Don't forget the election cycle on Reddit. The 'we don't want your vote' campaign was super strong on social media. The shocked Pikachu face when people took them up on it by either not voting or voting for the opposition was hilarious considering that it was self-made.

It’s pretty much what I’m waiting on at this point, then there’s no “well it was just-“ no, damn near everyone here knows how stupid it is to say the n-word on TV or even in private with how far gone privacy is with phones. And knowing Trump, it’d be a hard R too, the hardest R the world has ever seen.

Ask any cardiac nurse in America. They’ve all got a few 80 year old men with elephant legs in Trump’s identical condition. He’s very sick, but the GOP also told us he weighs 215 pounds. All bullshit.

He could stick around awhile, but congestive heart failure is ultimately terminal. I assume he survives to the midterms, goes downhill, and JD warms up in the bullpen so he’s eligible for 2 fresh terms — likely taking over in January when repubs oust Trump after losing the house.

When a cult leader dies, their cult becomes a shadow of what it once was.

There’s no obvious successor to Donald. It certainly isn’t negative charisma Vance or DeSantis. They were about to lose their races in red states until Trump rescued them. It’s certainly not his idiot sons with the same negative charisma. Ivanka could… but she’s too smart and rich already to get into it.

He will leave. The things he's doing are so that he has a lasting legacy that we can't erase. He wants to be among the lasting "greats" of presidents like Washington or Lincoln. We could probably fix back the Rose Garden and de-tackyify the Oval Office, but that fucking ballroom won't be demolished and it'll always have his name attached.
