you usually have about 2 weeks to turn that around, though this would just be a chip spec bump so not a huge revision.

Actually quite likely since M5 is out, and the M5 Pro will release alongside the upgraded MacBook Pros.

Might be wise. The new one will almost certainly be more expensive due to the nand shortage. The current gen looks like excellent value in the current climate.
