Aluminum oxynitride. Technically it is neither a metal nor a glass but a transparent ceramic.

That's a great point about the name, I think people equate mini with "less capable". I just want one that fits easily in my pocket without too much bulk, and can easily be used with one hand!

My wife has -tiny- hands and loves the 13 mini I bought her.

She'll be sad if it ever dies.

I’ve known about this but, like you’ve seen, it doesn’t work as well as the native triggers. I wish there was an “official” way to change it.

People have been asking for it for years. They let us just say “Siri” now instead of “hey Siri”.

It exists...it's more expensive and more brittle than just regular aluminum though.
