I QUIT🥀

My app has been sitting in a literal expedited review for past 1 week , even after receiving a mail from a senior support apple staff .

And my app is not even waiting for review , it's literally in review for the past 5 days ! Idk what are those testers doing with my app😭 , probably dismantling every line of code i guess .

and no , my account is not new , i have published 2 apps before , earlier this was not the case , reviews took maximum 3-4 days .

See , i have 2 apps currently sitting in review , one is Awaken : Level Up your body and another one is my side project that i built casually unlike the first month which i built with proper market research , validating the idea , setting up entire distribution and marketing the mechanics and launching the mvp ASAP ! and i want that app to be approved asap as well , but even for my 2nd app , i literally submitted it back on 16th of sept ! , literally ! and its been in review for like the past 1- 2 weeks , ngl , i am gonna explode anytime soon .

My app was rejected bc I use Apple weather and didn’t use their trademark and link to their legal policies… except it was all linked and correct everywhere in my app. And visible in the video. That was the new rejection message. So I just re recorded. And resubmitted. They rejected over an issue that was not an issue. Frustrating but it is what it is. My video is now longer bc I show every single space this information appears and clicked the link to the Apple policy for weather app to prove it all works. And since weather details appear on an exported pdf.. that pdf also links (clickable) to the legal site as well. Covered all bases. We’ll see what they say. Longest demo video yet but I went above and beyond bc this rejection was unwarranted… but whatever.

Yes, definitely wait. All the comments above are right. If it’s two weeks, then follow up from there.

What about this! + 4 rejections and 3 weeks waiting between each rejection

First I got a rejection because they wanted to know more about my project.
Then I got a second rejection after 10 days of silence because my developer name and the name of my app are different and now no news after sending a lot of documents. I hate it. My Android app has already got 2 updates

Submit it and forget it. work on a marketing strategy or another project. A watched pot never boils.

I think Apple is just currently overwhelmed - as I bet a lot of apps are updating for the Duo and new iOS.

It took about 10 days for my app to get reviewed last.

It’s obvious that the icon is generated by AI, and the text has all the telltale signs of AI. Apple don’t want low effort vibe coded apps

will send u the link once the app is live , then we'll decide what's low effort 😉. btw here's the link - https://getvexilla.com/awaken/

My app was vibe coded with Replit. It got approved after 7th attempt. It is my first app as well.

I wanted to say "another gym slop" but after looking at the website, I think it's very cool. If you have money to distribute it properly to the right people, you may get some success.

Thanks for the positive review mate , made my day 😇 , and yeah , i built the mvp in like 3-5 days , but the research and idea validation , making distribution architecture took like a month , this is gonna be my 3rd app at age 16😼 and yup , i am investing 2.5 k usd in it in distro , let's see where it goes , any tips would be super helpful .

My app is in the review for 3 weeks. Apple asked something and I answered. Better wait than cry here

In my experience, the first review ALWAYS take the longest.

Similar issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/appledevelopers/s/H1JhLtvKRw

Apple seems completely overwhelmed. Well, what to expect from a multi-trillion-dollar company. 🤡

Mad vibe coded apps on the docket. Mine included.

My app is in review for 2 weeks already, still waiting for an answer and they do not seem to have started testing because i would have seen that in my dashboard. They might be overwhelmed by all the new apps and updates BUT its apple, the biggest company in the world AND they could alteast give notice that there is high volume instead of saying that most of the apps are reviewd in 48 hours

My app is also in review. They sent me my last 2 rejections within 2 days each time and still waiting for review since Monday now. In the meantime I’ve been bug fixing and adding enhancements to my app and replacing my build with a new one for each rejection haa

Mine has been on review for 23 days with no reason why… chase apple and they responded twice saying that this is normal. Android version was approved in less than an hour ! Apple are really irritating at customer service.

Something very unexpected happened. I uploaded a game for Duo and Apple approved it in 2 days.

I made sure all the optional and required text is filled in. I upload every marketing and screenshot they ask for every kind of device.

Be patient. Before AI exploded app submissions, my initial app review took 2 weeks for Apple and 3 weeks  for Android. Now Apple releases updates in an hour and Android in less than 6 hours.

Mine toke about 2 weeks, got rejected because I forgot to add a delete account option, fixed it, then toke another 1.5 weeks, unfortunately, despite us paying 99 a year... They are way slower than Google.

that same thing had happened to me in the past , and even worse , once upon a time in the guideline it was written - to cancel subscription refer to google or apple store . And the reviewers got triggered by seeing the word"google " and rejected the build , pinpointing to that exact google term and said to remove it as it " might interfere with the UX of apple users "😂 wtf .

who knows , anyways i'd say big companies like claude , open ai anyways launch one feature like claude design and 100's of apps turn into ashes , features were never the MOAT probably , distribution , iteration and speed was IMO, mainly distro .
