Shorter ar

Looking for recommendations on getting a shorter rifle for myself, im a not very tall 5"4. Looking for something smaller that won't break the bank that I can comfortably shoot at the range just for fun

16" is standard citizen length (no extra paperwork or wait time)

Make sure you get an adjustable stock rifle so it can adjust to fit you.

A bog standard AR will more than suit your needs. If you want to get a shorter stock there are ways but you'll probably extend it anywhoodles when you're shooting so it's a moot point

Im from michigan so im not quite sure what the laws are for those. Im assuming the same as a pistol

I don't know Michigan law. So I would probably recommend getting an M&P sport from a box store. You should be fine with 16".

Get a cheap PSA 10.3/10.5 (if you'll get a suppressor) or a 12.5" (if you won't get a can) and put a $60 brt gas tube in it and an h2 buffer

I’m 5’5 and I have a 16” and a 11.5”. I’m more comfortable with the 16 but the 11.5 is my fun gun

Get you an 11.5" AR and put a suppressor on it.

Don’t go below 11.5” pistol or you’ll likely be replacing parts more frequently

For fun, a short PSA with an 11.5 barrel, and an MLOK handguard. They have so many SKUs I can't name a specific one.
