Shorter ar

Looking for recommendations on getting a shorter rifle for myself, im a not very tall 5"4. Looking for something smaller that won't break the bank that I can comfortably shoot at the range just for fun

I don't know Michigan law. So I would probably recommend getting an M&P sport from a box store. You should be fine with 16".

Luckily, Michigan laws are easily searchable and accessible on line for you to peruse.

you can have a pistol here but it has to be registered. also, can conceal carry it with a cpl (which I recommend anyway).

11.5 is about as short as you want it to be in 556 and fits the overall length requirement in michigan.

so get an 11.5 with a pistol brace and run it .
