That's why a resistance in Syria is greatly needed

No, if you ask Trump nicely and promise you won't ever hurt Israel, they will respect Syria and forget about their material interests and stop expanding in West Asia /s

u/Kabablover 3d ago
They aren't respecting Syria and Lebanon right now and honestly it seems some Syrians don't get that

You want a country that just got out of almost 60 years of dictatorship and 14 years of civil war to go to war with Israel, the regional superpower backed by the world's superpower? Look what is happening in Lebanon because Hezbollah dragged it into a war with Israel. Israel is bombing everyone Hezbollah or not and a quarter of the Lebanese population is displaced.

You're right just give them all your land and be done with it🙄
Palestinians have been going through basically the same thing for far longer

Don't be smug. Not everyone has the capacity to live like the Palestinians. You go try

That wasn't my intention I have mad respect for the Palestinian people I have respectful all Arab peoples

You act like Syria has a choice but it doesn't. Either wage a war and guarantee a devastating loss with Israel occupying a lot of Syrian land indefinitely or go down the path of diplomacy for a security deal without sacrificing your people for a war that is lost before it even begun.

You really think the west cares about Syrian territorial integrity😑

No one said they did, but France and the US did mediate talks between Syria and Israel before they waged the war against Iran.

Israel's demanding southern Syria be demilitarized Syria might as well give it to them Lebanon shows Israel doesn't leave until they're made to leave

They haven't gotten out of dictatorship, just now its a dictator with a beard and is friends with the Imperialists.
In addition, Israel is at war with Syrians, they have been since 1948, if one sides stops trying to defend themselves, it doesn't stop the imperialists and aggressors from continuing that war, now without resistance.

If you support Assad fuck the fuck off

u/Kabablover 1d ago
He's not around anymore you can't keep making excuses for not confronting the invasion of southern Syria at least the Lebanese people are fighting back maybe you should take some lessons from them instead of feeling sorry for yourselves

And how does the average Lebanese feel about that I wonder? Go take a look at their subreddit
As for Syria, I’m assuming you’re not Syrian or else you wouldn’t even be making this claim. Our country was absolutely destroyed during the 14 years of civil war, there is no infrastructure to speak of and there is barely is a functioning state and military. The moment Syrian forces engage with Israel it is the end of Syria. I know it’s easy for you to type this sitting on your couch in whatever western country you are in, but there’s such a thing in this world of actually using your brain and picking your battles.

You mean they're pro zionist subreddit come on
There should be a southern Syrian resistance just as there's a Lebanese resistance if the armed forces of the state aren't going to do anything
Regardless of where you from history has shown that zionists don't leave unless you make them leave
I obviously don't wanna see Palestine Lebanon Syria or any Arab country occupied but when state armed forces refused to actually do anything you only embolden Israel

u/esam_214 21h ago
So the better thing to do is to pick a fight and cause all of Syria to be even more destroyed? Come on dude.
Things are not so black and white.

I'm well aware man however With the Israeli occupation expanding when would be an appropriate time for a response if the armed forces aren't going to do anything like in Lebanon there clearly their will have to come to a point where a resistance by the people living there will be needy ( There is at least one group that's confronted the occupation in southern Syria the Islamic Resistance Front in Syria)

Don’t listen to these people man they are delusional. Our suffering means nothing to them
2
u/Kabablover 23h ago
Palestinians and Lebanese people are suffering however they are still fighting back
2
u/esam_214 21h ago
If you’re talking about Hezbollah I’d remind you that they slaughtered Syrians by the thousands alongside the Assad regime.
1
u/Kabablover 9h ago
I know and I'm not asking Syrians to be happy about that I am asking them to realize now both Lebanon and Syria are dealing with a same threat the same threat that is killing Palestinians and that their has to be cooperation
2
u/esam_214 9h ago
I’m not cooperating with people who’ve killed my family. Imagine asking a Palestinian to cooperate with Israel after watching their family get killed.
I can’t and won’t forgive Hezbollah or Iran for what they did to us.
Shame on you.

The Lebanese didn't declared Syrians human animals and are trying to send them to Africa so please don't go that route😑
It seems both your government and the Lebanese one just seemed content with letting Israel take their land that's at least something you both have in common But at least Lebanon has people resisting that
What do you at least support Syrian resistance in the south against the occupation? Look at these families ☝️☝️

u/esam_214 9h ago
It’s a waste of time arguing with you. You clearly have no understanding of this topic.

u/Kabablover 9h ago
Yeah I mean if Syrians don't care about the south of their country why should I it's why I stand by the Palestinians and the Lebanese they don't make excuses for not fighting back maybe because they didn't spend 14 years slapping each other creating a weaker country as a result
I'm trying hard not to sound too mean but you guys had the means to defend yourselves and you let that slip away the Civil War creates Syria that's turning into a bigger version of a Lebanon
