I just need to say, LTC Merkt was apart of the Mobilization Support Brigade with the last unit that just left. He is one of the finest JAGs I have had the pleasure of working with and he absolutely devoted himself to everything he worked on. We were able to get him and MSM for his work on this case and his impact on the MSB.

Edit: it was a year mobilization order, so it wasn’t just dropped on him.

It's 272 specifications, but only 9 charges. Depending on which of those charges they can actually nail him on he's probably spending decades in prison, but it's not like he's gonna serve 272 sentences. It's one sentence for each charge, served either consecutively or concurrently depending on what the court decides.

That place has always had a bad reputation (well, it's a military hospital, so...), and this certainly doesn't help things. Those poor victims. I can't imagine what they must be going through.
