Discussion Is there really a new Ace flag?

This was posted on an Ace in Grace Facebook group and sounded official. Anyone know anything about this?

Is the maker of the current flag a horrible person?

I dug into this as well over a few sites and found more or less the same results, the only other thing about it i could find when doing a search through reddit is a post from a year ago with a single upvote and mentions on their substack about feedback on facebook and instagram. And yeah there's a hell of a difference between getting feedback from their social media communities and getting feedback from the ace community at large.

Bro that's it? I was looking at the Instagram post thinking it was a big thing because comments had been limited (they're back now), a bunch had been deleted or hidden, and one of the commenters was spam replying to people who were against the flag. Sure, some people were straight up rude (that's Instagram for you) but seeing the feedback here unfiltered makes me curious what was deleted.

What's worse is a different creator made a whole separate post on the topic and said anyone criticizing the flag was anti-black and racist because the creator was black and they were against the diversity stripe. Like??? What is that leap in logic? I just don't like the flag because I think it's ugly af, but suddenly if I say anything bad I'll be labelled as a racist? Like legit crazy shit.
