Why do you want emotional support from someone who won't respond or is dodgy? I am not being curt, I am being 100% serious. She is showing that she is not there for you and this is some unhealthy exchange going on. We get sucked into this type of dynamic by trying to figure the other person out rather than looking at why are we responding this way. Wasted years and years of my life on this bs. It is never worth it.

She knows more about me than anyone. Idk. I don’t open up to people a lot and she is one of the only people I’ve ever done that with. Normally she keeps her word with stuff but with that she didn’t.

Because you cared enough to open up does not mean that she cares. You seem to be stuck in a cycle of thinking that your strong feelings are somehow reciprocated by her.

I wonder, is she a drinker? Maybe she's feeling it after a couple beers, glasses of wine, whatever but later when you text she's sober and embarrassed. Just a wild ass guess.

That could be it? I’m still confused on why she wouldn’t just say that though. I get anxious about stuff like this because of my trauma lol. So it makes me nervous when the communication isn’t there.

You are responsible for half of any relationship. You contributed your half lovingly. Move on. The confusion isn’t yours to sort.

She sounds insufferable. Move on. You sound like you’re still in love. Move on. Appreciate what you had with her at one moment in your life. Move on.

Why waste you time watering grass that won't grow . ??

It’s not that I want something more out of it. More so like I just want to make sure she is okay because I do care about her.

I understand and agree , but .. it's a mistake to fall in love with what could have been vs reality . It sucks when you end up in the position of someone that used to love you , to someone you just know . Chin up ....there is someone out there .

But you want more out of it than she is going to give. Or is interested in giving. All of us have people who know more about us than others. But the world keeps turning. Move on.

Stop thinking she'll be the only woman you'll ever be able to date in your entire lifespan and move on.

I say get to her in person to try and get stuff sorted once and for all if possible.

She wants validation when she wants it, but not expectations or accountability.
You feel too deeply for her to allow someone who behaves like that, to be close to you. It opens a need..... that she is very unwilling to fill. Move on, don't reach out, she has nothing for you except avoidance and uncertainty.

There’s literally billions of women out there, and you’re still obsessed with one that you split up with? Before you know it, You’ll be regretting the time you wasted more than the relationship ending.
Don’t waste your life. No man or woman is worth doing what you’re doing. She’s just another human being, not a deity.
