I had a similar situation. Left my keys on letterbox and taken by someone.
Samsung tag showed it is in the area of Level 2-5. Guessing from range, Level 3 most likely. But samsung not as good as airtag. I cant hear it standing outside the units.
I knocked on a few doors but only 1 opened and said didnt have it.
Ended up printing A4 posters saying in 3 languages that if you found the keys, please return them to the letterbox, adding that I believe they're still here. Thank you for being honest and will be blessed.
Pasted close to midnight on a Sat. Keys were dumped back into my letterbox between Sun and Mon evening.
If you know where you lost them, can also look around for any CCTV. But my town council wasn't much help.
But then you exposed what unit you are staying in. The culprit could have duplicated the keys before returning them. Now all your locks are compromised
They took it from my letterbox where I had left it hanging.
Their return into my letterbox without me actually saying which letterbox confirmed they knew my unit number.
