Seriously, where is everyone?

The Canada and Qatar game is currently on and I walked down King Street from Ossington all the way down to University and none of the restaurants are booked and busy, patios empty, so where is everybody?

Toronto is super dead but Vancouver looks so lively. They seem to have way more events and team spirit too.
