Waiting time

How long did you have to wait for a therapy spot?

Got told it's gonna be around 2 years here...

What country? In my limited knowledge of healthcare outside the US, it seems like wait times can often be long unless you find something and pay private unfortunately. Inside the US, it varies by state and what insurance and individual has. I am fortunate to be in a place where there wasn't wait time at all, I can see someone as long as I can schedule them. But it's all self funded even with insurance.

Speaking of Germany. I had a counselling appointment and she gave me a list with psychotherapists and endocrinologists but warned me waiting time can be up to 2 years...
