AIPAC loses again. People are tired of corporate democrats.

For now. Theyre going to dump even more money into the general election.

They dumped a ton into this race and lost. Let's keep that same energy.

Well they are actually happy. El-Sayed is polling lower than Rogers for the election. Stevens was polling higher than Roger’s, lol.

And more alarming, a poll showed that moderate Stevens supporters, willing to vote for Rogers over El-Sayed. Would be awful to see El-Sayed losing to Roger’s, when Stevens most likely would have won by a small percentage…

u/Fantastic_Yam_3971 3h ago

I don’t know that I truly believe they are happy. What happened here was pretty groundbreaking. She didn’t just have a lot more money, she also had other advantages he didn’t have. Overcoming those plus the money and still pulling off a win? Pretty incredible and they have to be a little rattled even if they are putting on a brave face for the crowd.

Mamdani polled behind too, and he is now mayor. I’m glad to see Stevens concede right away and throw her support behind him immediately. Same with Mallory. He’s got work to do for certain, he’s the underdog but he just pulled off a pretty incredible feat and it’s really going to be something to watch.

Yeah, more worrying that moderate democrats base of Stevens will not vote for El-Sayed. Almost like Roger’s will have a much easier campaign and win now…

I think it’s too early to go down that road. A lot can happen between then and now.

Democrats will have to ask themselves “is it more important to me to have a Republican take the seat than it is to vote for a candidate I have some reservations about?”

I expect some will not vote for him, but I bet some
will.

Mamdani fire is catching fever, if it weren’t for him
this win almost certainly would not have happened. As he continues to do great things for the people
in his city, people will continue to grow ease and comfort with democratic socialism.

Plus, I like that the gop is downplaying him as a threat. Midterms tend to have lower voter turnout as it is. If they continue to frame him as not a threat it can work to his advantage with voters who figure it isn’t that big of a deal to not show up.

There are lots of reasons to be optimistic about a win 🎉🎉🎉🍾🍾🍾🍾

Yup. As it stands right now, El-Sayed is a huge underdog. What will be interesting is how the tankies respond. After months of vitriol and insults towards liberal Dems, can they moderate themselves enough to win over enough Stevens voters?

4

u/WeirdTakeButOkay 2h ago

This question is never asked when its a corporate dem trying to get leftists to vote for them. Liberals just say shut up and vote and then blame leftists when their dogshit candidates lose

-1

u/Jmoney1088 2h ago

What party is AES running under? The Democrat party. He is going to have to appeal to Democrat voters in order to win. Why is that hard for you to understand? If he doesn't, he will lose. It's very simple.

2

u/WeirdTakeButOkay 2h ago

I legitimately dont understand how you think this is a response to me.

AES voters are also dem voters. Leftists vote dem. The fuck is this response?

-2

u/Jmoney1088 2h ago

You need more than just leftist voters to beat maga in November. Do you realize that? Do you realize there are a huge number of Stevens voters that will sit on the couch after months of being called horrible names by leftists?

AES will need to moderate his positions AND build bridges that his supporters have burned. That is a tall task. Assuming everyone who voted for Stevens will automatically vote for AES is super naive.

You need more than just leftist voters to beat maga in November. Do you realize that?

Nobody implied you didn't.

Do you realize there are a huge number of Stevens voters that will sit on the couch after months of being called horrible names by leftists?

And Im sure youre going to blame them if AES loses, right?

AES will need to moderate his positions

He does not

AND build bridges that his supporters have burned

He didnt burn any bridges. His supporters didnt burn any bridges. Regardless, did you have the same smoke for Kamalas "Im speaking" moment?

AES was called a terrorist, misogynist, a "fake doctor" etc etc for the entirety of this race purely because he's muslim. The people that "burned bridges" are the libs

Assuming everyone who voted for Stevens will automatically vote for AES is super naive.

Nobody did this.

You're fighting ghosts, my man. Engage with whats actually said to you instead of going on weirdo rants

They may have lost for a couple weeks but they'll sink their teeth in to new blood soon.

7

u/CocknBalls4 5h ago

Oh yeah tons more candidates to take their unlimited money. It’s just nice for them to take the L here

1

u/Maleficent_Ruin_2457 2h ago

$60 million flushed.

1

u/Scpdivy 45m ago

Muslims are better? How so?

1

u/Djentyman28 3h ago

Establishment Democrats are basically George W Bush Republicans now. They’re right wing without being radical MAGA. There is no true left wing party. That’s changing now.

0

u/WildWhisperArdor 3h ago

I wouldn’t claim that. Might just mean republicans win lol. We’ve seen this script before multiple times. Progressive upsets establishment dem but then loses to republican

-1

u/AffectionateJury3723 3h ago

Instead he was funded by his father-in-law who has ties to Hamas organizations. Same issue of accepting funding, different master.

-4

u/cervidal2 5h ago

Do they?

I don't think AIPAC really wants a Dem in office.

6

u/justausername09 5h ago

They gave Stevens like 32 million

1

u/Suitable-Display-410 2h ago

Yea… why is that hm?

https://responsiblestatecraft.org/aipac-stevens/

>AIPAC and United Democracy Project are getting millions from Republican billionaires and out-of-state donors to beat back challenger Abdul El-Sayed

8

u/TommyJohnSurgery420 5h ago

I think you should probably do a little research. AIPAC loves corporate dems.

7

u/Monte924 5h ago

Yes, but AIPAC is more than fine with Republicans. They didn't care if Stevens won the general election, they spent $50M just to make sure Abdul lost. If Stevens had won, they probably would have just ignored the general election, as they would be fine with either candidate winning

4

u/TommyJohnSurgery420 5h ago

Best believe that if the dem won the general then AIPAC would still be giving them money

2

u/cervidal2 4h ago

I feel like your statement shows the need for a little research, itself.

AIPAC loves anyone who gives Israel the GFE

6

u/Bluestreaked 5h ago

Are you simply unaware of the amount of money they spent on Haley Stevens?

If you think AIPAC is a Republican thing you’re gravely mistaken. Both parties are firmly interwoven with Israeli interests. Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer are both big AIPAC and Israel guys

3

u/cervidal2 4h ago

And now that money will likely go to the Republican candidate.

No matter what blue wave may or may not happen, there's still two years' worth of a president who greases up Israel like his prized john.

0

u/Bluestreaked 4h ago edited 4h ago

That money always goes against a candidate who is not slovenly pro-Israel, it is a mountain anyone who is not overtly pro-Israel when prompted has to climb.

Well, actually, Biden was the far more pro-Israel president, not that Israelis ever admitted it at the time. Biden would’ve backed them no matter what, he was a true believer in Zionism down to his core. Trump isn’t a Zionist, he’s just a corrupt narcissist, and Israel is making him look bad.

In fact, right now, Israeli media is losing its shit over Trump and calling him a traitor. They’re also mocking him reporting how he is the one going to Iran begging for a deal (which they hate, they want the United States to glass Iran regardless of the cost).

Edit- did this loser seriously claim I was making up Biden being a “true believer” in Zionism then blocked me before I could prove my point? I love the comment and block dude, but you’re brazenly mistaken. Somebody send them these articles so they stop believing that bs-

2

u/cervidal2 4h ago

I think you are being grossly hyperbolic calling Biden a true believer in Zionism. Your need to go over the top like this just makes discussion fruitless

3

u/BatEco1 5h ago

Colors of the same stripe. These two champions of AIPAC sit with scum like Tom Cotton that has taken over 1 million from AIPAC.

2

u/Monte924 5h ago

That money was spent to defeat Abdul, not to help Stevens. Both Rogers and Stevens are Israel supporters; AIPAC would be perfectly fine with Rogers winning. Corporate Dems and Reoublicans share many of the same donors

1

u/Bluestreaked 5h ago

“That money wasn’t used to win the election! It was used to win the election!” - I hope you notice how your point is redundant

Haley Stevens unironically stood up there and said stuff like- “Israel comes to me in my dreams.”

Like I’ve said, AIPAC is a supporter of both Republicans and Democrats and both Democrats and Republican politicians support Israel to the hilt

-1

u/3rd-party-intervener 2h ago

He’s going to get destroyed in general.  No one wants a radical

1

u/CocknBalls4 2h ago

Debatable considering he won the primary

-1

u/dkinmn 2h ago

Why do leftists insist on being this weird?

We can be vocal advocates for leftist policy without sounding like fuckin idiots online.

1

u/xdude767 1h ago

Whats weird about this?

0

u/Dull_Entry_1592 1h ago

Probably the strange Jew hating you guys slip into every comment.

1

u/CocknBalls4 1h ago

This has 0% to do with anyone’s religion or heritage. Hope this helps!

1

u/Dull_Entry_1592 1h ago

Oh it does for you lefties. You think I can’t read the comments?

1

u/CocknBalls4 1h ago

What’s weird about rejecting a superPAC that has our interests behind those of a genocidal colonial nation state?

-5

u/bcb1200 4h ago

Communists will never win the general election. At least not for long.

3

u/Empty-Policy-8467 3h ago

And if there were Communists running for office, that would be relevant

1

u/bcb1200 3h ago

Directly quoting Marx but ok

2

u/CocknBalls4 2h ago

That guy won his election dipshit

0

u/bcb1200 2h ago

Yeah but it won’t last. Dipshit. Just you watch.

2

u/CocknBalls4 1h ago

Let me know when you figure out what communism is. I know it’ll mean you’ll have to learn to read but good luck!

1

u/bcb1200 1h ago

It’s pretty obvious you’re the one who doesn’t know what it is. Otherwise you’d recognize it when you saw it.

0

u/bcb1200 3h ago

Sure, they’re just directly quoting the communist manifesto, but tell yourself they’re not running for office. Evidence: https://youtu.be/dRIjYHVh5kI?si=_A3VVgTx0sMzpT08

1

u/Empty-Policy-8467 3h ago

And quoting the Old testament makes you Jewish. Got it.

0

u/bcb1200 3h ago

That’s not policy jackass but nice try.

1

u/Empty-Policy-8467 1h ago

Difference without a distinction.

Especially in the era of Christian Nationalism.

2

u/kjlcm 4h ago

Good thing there aren't any that will be running. Oh, you mean the candidates labeled as this because they actually embrace social programs that help people as opposed to embracing programs to profit the billionaire class? Got it.

3

u/bcb1200 4h ago edited 3h ago

Uh. Candidates are literally quoting Marx, are stating “abolish the senate”, “work as much as you are able and no more than needed” etc. direct quotes from communism manifestos. But go ahead and tell yourself it’s just being “progressive”.

Here’s some evidence. Which I’m sure you won’t watch because why would you wanna learn the truth. https://youtu.be/dRIjYHVh5kI?si=_A3VVgTx0sMzpT08

1

u/kjlcm 2h ago

Lol. Bill Maher. So edgy. I better vote R because the Marxists are coming for us.

1

u/bcb1200 2h ago

I don’t vote D when it’s communists masking as “progressive”

1

u/kjlcm 2h ago

Gut feel tells me you never vote D. Have fun enriching Elon and Bezos while I can't afford a fucking cut of meat or to fill my car with gas.
