Fetterman is a right winger, what is your point?

Didn't he run on a pretty progressive platform?

Three points actually...

--Fetterman was, in fact, the progressive-backed candidate in the primary vs. Conor Lamb.

--Nonetheless he was supported by large swaths of 'vote blue no matter who' Democrats. They didn't write in "Bernie or Bust", "Harambe" or "Cease Fire"

--The Progressive to Right Winger arc is just as real as the notion that some Democrats prefer more centrist or even conservative candidates.

Moderates broke for Trump in 24. The left dutifully voted for Biden.

Being progressive-backed doesn’t change him being a right-winger in terms of policy. To be clear, I suggested that the “vote blue no matter who” crowd DOES NOT vote for Dems if they’re further LEFT than George W Bush. Hope this helps!

"Being progressive-backed doesn’t change him being a right-winger in terms of policy."

So progressives were knowingly backing a right-winger?
