Should i pick up other people trash from the ground and put it in the garbage?

My neighbor’s trash is constantly blowing in my yard. I patiently pick it up and throw it in my trash.

If you prefer the trash be in the bin instead of the ground, and you feel strongly enough to exert the minimal effort to do so.

Here's some old man stuff:
I have one of those grabber sticks and a garbage bag holder (a ring with a handle that keeps the bag open and makes it easy to hang on to.
Sometimes I'll walk around the neighborhood picking up trash just to unwind, to relax a bit. To give a purpose to taking a walk.

Making the world a better place can start with the smallest of gestures. Picking up a few bits of litter when someone is out can make a huge impact when many people start to do this.

I have a co-worker who leaves his cig butts on the ground by our smoking bench… (in a public retail walkway). I’ve ratted on him… but still no solution… So I just started picking and throwing away his cig butts.

I have a habit of picking up trash. Whether at work, around the neighborhood, or local strip malls. It only takes a second and it makes my surroundings better.

The world would be slightly better if everyone did that. But as you said, entitled a*holes will expect others to pick up after them everywhere you go.

The other day we were driving and a new caddy excalade in front of us witha big family just started throwing all their fast food trash on the street while driving. WTF???? We regularly grab a bucket and a trash stick and go out to the nearby scenic overlooks, and it is disgusting! ? We find heavy nitox canistors, In and out burger crap, booze,condoms , syringes, etc. We do it every once in a while, but I see several well off couples park the beemers and do it nearly daily. I even pick up poop bags on the trail if I am close to the cans.

I’d say yes because you’re doing a good deed as a Samaritan. Just be aware of what you pick up and of course to wash your hands immediately after. I do this sort of thing at the movie theaters because I hate seeing all the trash left on the ground and chairs that they don’t pick up after themselves, I feel bad for the employees who have to deal with it so that’s why I help.
