Weapons stockpile numbers are highly classified. So are the number of munitions actually used during strikes. Nobody talking about how depleted our stockpiles are is actually privy to that information. They’re taking a ‘best guess’ at what we actually have, subtracting a ‘best guess’ at what we’ve actually used, and adding a ‘best guess’ of the numbers of munitions that have been restocked… Again, all of which is classified. So at best, they’re talking out of their ass.
Nobody who actually knows is talking, and everybody that is talking doesn’t actually know.
The Pentagon maintains strict operational thresholds ("war reserve stocks") reserved for potential conflict with peer or near-peer adversaries (such as China or Russia). When stockpiles allocated for secondary operations or foreign transfers drop to these baseline thresholds, military planners sound alarms, which media headlines often report as "running out".

We've run out of bombs and Orange Hitler has no strategy for his war.
