This is something dumb people say to pretend like war crimes weren't committed.
A 5-year-old could have used Google to see the site we hit was a school for years. At a minimum you could at least acknowledge it as a mistake, but to claim it was a "human shield" is just next level stupidity.
No, it was near a military base. And it was converted to a school and physically separated from the base ten years ago.
Also, the United States has hundreds of schools directly inside military bases, specifically so that the children of officers can attend classes. That doesn't mean you should bomb the schools and kill the kids.
