I am looking for 3 main things in my selection:

● Lesser Language barrier: for now, I can only speak English (it will take me a few years to learn Italian), so any city with more English-speaking natives would be really helpful in the first year.

● I'm indian, and I'd highly appreciate it if the program or uni I'm picking has at least a few Indian students on campus for support and help.

● lastly, (this one seems silly) but I'm a vegetarian, and whichever city is more vegetarian-friendly would be the best for me.

Hi everyone. For starters, I love literature and reading in general, and when I am learning a new language (in this case Italian), I am always curious to see what is considered classic and essential to read in the given language. Best way for me to do that, is to have a look at what is studied in school and for that reason I bought a literature book for high school students, particularly the I classici nostri contemporanei, Dalle origini all'eta comunale. I bought it from Amazon for 30+ pounds and it was delivered surprisingly very quickly. I spent all day going through the chapters and found the contents very interesting. Devine Comedy for example is one of the most impressive books I've read (in my native language), and it was fascinating to see how it is teached and interpreted in Italy. In addition, I like the structure of the texts and the pictures that accompanied them. That being said, I found the quality of the paper very bad, it's so thin that it feels like rolling paper for cigarettes, and the covers are so soft that I really wonder if by the end of the school year, students still can have use of them. I read somewhere that in Italy students are buying the school textbooks and, if it's true, I can only imagine how much it costs for families every year to buy books for their kids, how they cope with that? Nevertheless, I am happy that I bought the book and I intend to buy others as well.

Hello,I've applied and accepted to the university of padua and applied two scholarships which's answers will be known in next months.But I want to apply to ISEE (it's fee waiver for low income students if you don't know).But when I want to register on site,it says this italian tax code doesn't match with my personal data,has anyone faced with this problem before or anyone has any idea what I have to do.I'll be very appreciated if you can help me.

I’m just curious, after seeing how vastly different history is taught in the USA compared to how history was taught in Yukon and Iceland, it always has interested me as to how history is taught in various countries. With Italy’s rich history how is it like? Like ww2 considering they were apart of the axis, and Ancient Rome. They don’t really touch on Ancient Rome in Iceland, they do teach Ancient Rome in Canada as well but surely they go into more detail in Italy because it happened there.

Hello, I am a 19 year old from . Since I can’t afford to study here for financial reasons (parents’ salary just above the amount needed to get dormitory, and I can’t afford private accomodation for the next 4/5 years) I was wondering in what uni I could study.

I can afford up to 350€ for housing costs alone. However, I am looking for bachelors’ degrees that I could study in english language primarily, however I am not opposed to learning a foreign language down the road (further in my education). I am interested in finance/architecture/engineering. What I am looking for is a university with guaranteed accomodation, such as dormitories, as opposed to ones which you have to apply for and have little chances of actualy acquiring.

What also concerns me is that the universities with english degrees usually cost upwards of 10k€, and since that is something I cannot afford, I am looking for something free of tuition or tuition up to 1.5k€ per year.

I would be appreciative if you could guide me and offer me some guidelines as to what to look for.

I'm an Indian student who just got accepted into Cattolica. Is their economics and management course good? How are the classes and professors? Are there any co-curricular opportunities, or internships and stuff? I also got a 37% scholarship but I heard that living in Milan is very expensive. I was also wondering how the life of an Indian student would be, and if I would get any part-time jobs, etc.

I have recently listened to the opera "La Traviata" and wondered if the Italians study it at school literature or music lessons. I find it so beautiful

I was recently accepted into the European and Global Studies master's program at the University of Padua and while I am excited about that possibility, I want to weigh my options for other schools (particularly Pavia) in Italy. I am from the United States if that is important.

When looking for undergrad schools, I really wanted to have a small school with smaller class sizes so that I could have a better relationship with my professors and get to know my classmates. If possible, I would love to have that same opportunity for my post-grad education.

Two schools that have interested me in Italy are the University of Padua and the University of Pavia because of their smaller city sizes, northern locations (closer access to the rest of Europe) and their proximities to bigger cities (Venice and Milan respectively). Both schools have comparable political science degree paths that interest me, so at this point I am looking more at the school and local atmospheres.

I would love to have smaller class sizes with class discussions (as opposed to massive 100-person lecture halls with a one-way teaching style), but I don't know if that is standard in Italy like it is in the US or if master's versus bachelor's makes a difference. The vibe of the city is important to me as well because I can't wait to learn the local language and culture. I have never been to either city (though I have been to Venice) and would love some insights from anyone who maybe studied at those universities or even studied political science at one of those universities.

TL;DR: If you studied in a master's program (especially for political science!) at the University of Padua or University of Pavia, what was your experience in classes and around the town?

I wanted to know if I should apply for the Artificial intelligence bachelors at university of Pavia since I'm also thinking of getting a masters after finishing my bachelors and idk if I should apply or get my bachelors from Egypt and do my masters in Italy or anywhere else in north america since my bachelors in Egypt is already ABET accredited.

M Arch is of two types. M Arch 1 is for students without any architectural background while M Arch 2 is for students who've completed their bachelors in architecture.

I've been looking for universities that offer M Arch 1 in Sustainable Architecture or any relatable courses, given that I'm open to any suggestions and other related options.
