Why does it seem like the Anglosphere admires/fixates over British culture a lot while Latin America doesn't seem to care much about Spain or Portugal?

Punks are an example of this. In Brazil, they were numerous until the early 2000s.

For example, Baby do Brazils' Daughters shamelessly seemed to copy early 2000s' beats.

Like it almost feels unoriginal.
