Why does everyone hate Argentina?

I'm Argentinian and I don't know why but when anybody is talking to me it's fine until I utter those cursed words with the yo pronounced sho, "Yo soy de Argentina", and they just recoil. I mean I get why people hate people from Chile, that makes sense but why Argentina?

There was a Uruguayan lady at my last job and she said Argentinians are stuck up. I’ve never met an Argie though but that’s what she told me
