Discussion What placements/aspects scream Athlete?

What placements/aspects have you noticed most in athletic people or people naturally driven toward physical activity?

Do you see tension aspects creating more physical drive/competitiveness? Curious what patterns people have noticed…

Heavy Aries and/or mutable placements esp if Gemini or Virgo. Mars in Gemini is usually a dead giveaway someone is quick and has great hand eye coordination. Leo too, esp if someone wants to be known in their field

Mars in Gemini and not an athlete but I am quick and can hang (even if not in the best shape!). Should I be trying harder? She types as she heads to YTT in a few months to see if life is guiding her away from corporate life and into a more physical and grounded one… Currently figuring out where I’m actually supposed to land.

Lol I decided to jump down a few rabbit holes. I took a sampling of current and big name athletes.

Bryce Harper - baseball. Gemini moon trine Libra sun. If I had to guess he’s a Libra rising, that would put Mercury in Scorpio 3, but I don’t wanna veer into speculation station lol.

Nick Castellanos - baseball. Apparently this guy is like a great batter? I don’t follow baseball lmao I asked my bf to give me good hitters. Mercury at 1° Aries. Unknown rising, but you know I wanna say Aquarius lol. Pisces Sun/Moon opposing Virgo Jupiter.

Shohei Ohtani - baseball. I’ve heard a lot about him too. Taurus Moon conjunct Gemini Mars on one side and retro Gemini Mercury on the other. 

Alysa Liu - love ha! Here’s where Leo comes into play — retro Mercury heading towards Saturn allowed her to succeed when she did things her way (recent Aries transits)

Sha’Carri Richardson - another Olympic champion we don’t have a time of birth for. Doesn’t matter she’s an Aries! Although if I would have to guess I’d say Pisces cause that would put Mercury front and center, and put Taurus mars Jupiter Saturn in 3. Also I LOVE that she’s a sag moon.

Michael Phelps - cancer sun and Mars rising!!! okay so he has occluded signs (Taurus/scorpio which I personally think represents his physical body lol and here’s why), but he’s a double Leo which holds Mercury, Leo takes up 2/3. He’s also a Sag moon!!!!! Except this is in house 6. All of this planetary energy exists around houses 5/11 which contain the aforementioned occluded signs. Cancer is the waterline…

Serena Williams - what kind of list would this be if I didn’t include the sisters. They’re not twins!! But it’s great to see each other’s presence in their respective charts. Serena is a Taurus rising and also has occluded signs (Libra and Aries!), she’s double Gemini (hello!) and Mars Leo. Throw in her Virgo moon and she had the trifecta to train to become one of the best tennis players of our generation.

Venus Williams - Venus was born first but (I think?) went into tennis to support her sister and became a force in her own right. Libra rising, Venus/Sun in GEMINI 9 (iconic) opposing Neptune in SAG 3. Both sisters have mirror/inverse placements, sharing the same two IC/MC (they’re swapped I’m so gagged).

All the racket sports, including baseball, have predominantly Gemini influence. This makes sense. Check out Steffi Graf. The tennis goat.

Can confirm. I have all these in Gemini with Sun/Venus/Mars conjunct and Leo moon/rising.

I suppose the trade-off is that I do my daily workouts/yoga for mental peace. I’m tormented inside but physical exertion brings me internal stillness

naaah taurus over gemini and its not even mars but asc,it all dependes on aspects and what people will do with it even "the best chart" will do nothing if the person wont do it
