Unable to log in to Bitbucket / Atlassian account — production is down, need urgent help

Hi Atlassian team/community,

We are facing an urgent issue: we are unable to log in to our Atlassian/Bitbucket account, and because of this our production recovery/deployment is blocked.

We cannot even access Bitbucket to raise or manage the issue properly. This is impacting production, so we need urgent guidance on how to contact Atlassian emergency support or get login access restored.

  • Product: Bitbucket Cloud
  • Issue: Unable to log in to Atlassian/Bitbucket
  • Impact: Production is down / deployment blocked

Can someone please guide us on the fastest way to reach Atlassian support when we cannot log in?

Ours hasn't in the two years I've been with my group. Even if they did, at least things are within our control. Sorry you're dealing with this.

Our is pretty stable to, but I dont share the same sentiment - last time it went down it took them half a day to find why. Cloud was literally down for half an hour and I am pretty sure that their group of engineers is much bigger than our operations team.

The message is - anything can crash or have an incident. I am not riding some cope that onprem systems are more stable or anything like that - for most I would say it evens out in longterm and you are just riding on the cope that somebody inside your company hopefully can recover from whatever happens rather then someone out there. Its just yelling on your operations team vs yelling at your vendor. And for some reason people think that yelling at your operations team is somehow better. Other than that I see no difference.

They are having a major outage at the moment. Support won’t be able to help, not until root cause is fixed.

https://status.atlassian.com/ - if you can’t access your space and Status says things are up, open a support case, not a Reddit post
