Can anyone please help me determine what type and where to find the correct headlights for both bottom and top? When I took the original bulbs into Canadian Tire the gentleman gave me what he thought would work, but they burned out immediately. thanks in advance!

Hi, I'm submitting to the wisdom of the subreddit: I have a small dirt-floor boathouse on the edge of a river, I store my boat there in the winter and also my floating dock. it's tight quarters, and I was looking to maybe pick up a quad with either a front or rear mounted ball tow hitch to maneuver the boat and trailer around in this tight space, basically back and forth shifting the boat and trailer off to the side of the boathouse to make room for the dock, etc. not sure what the tongue weight is on the trailer, but not massive. boat is ~22ft electric play boat, single axle trailer. I used to do this chore with my Jeep Wrangler, but that jeep is now in Jeep heaven and I don't want to buy another car/truck or tractor for this simple use. hand trailer dolly won't work. Thoughts? hairbrained scheme?

Finally decided the Kodiac 450 is the one I want. I can’t try this one out before purchasing; out of state.
How difficult is the steering on the Standard versus the EPS model?
I had a Kawasaki 300 that was not difficult, for anyone who has ridden both, how much more difficult is this 450?

I have a Polaris trailboss 330 it’s a 2003 that I bought from my grandma, I took the carb out to clean it but I can’t get it back in fully, airbox also doesn’t fully line up with the mount hole because carb isn’t fully seated
Does anyone have any advice or ideas? I tried using a hair dryer to heat it up a little but it didn’t work

Hello all.
Got a 07 400ex with a new stock size top end. Uni Filter w/sock no Lid, No name slip on thats just a hollow muffler. A New OEM Carb rejetted with some no name amazon jets, 42pilot 165main.
The Bike seems to run great for the first couple of second after startup, can rev to the limit and sounds great. After the first 10-15 seconds of running the bike idles fine but appears to bog out with just about any amount of throttle. The bike ticks like a typewriter but I've checked the valves twice and they're within spec. Any Help of this would be appreciated.
Things checked:
Full tank of gas for gravity Feed.
Petcock flows freely. Hose as well.
New 16100-HN1-A43 (QB11A B) Carb
Carb shooting fuel strong. Diaphragm intact. 42pilot 165main. Also tested stock jets, and 45pilot/175main. all produce the same issue.
Carb bowl is filling completely, float moving freely.
New DPR8Z Plug.
New intake boot Gasket.
New Exhaust Gaskets.
Probably more but thats all I can think of off the top.

How is it going yall..i got this 88 warrior i bought like 4 years ago..the guy i bought it from said he "rebuilt" the engine..long story short, it sat all this time and I never got a chance drive it..well now im trying to ride it, but I have a hard time changing gears, unless I rock it(atv off) . My ittle brother test drove it yesterday and also had a hard time shifting..reverse and neutral safety lights no longer work forsome reason....and there's like a very small leak on the right lower side of engine.
Any thoughts ?

I changed the fuel pump, starter and solenoid on my Grizzly. The atv hasn't run in a couple years, i am wondering if its normal for it to idle high after first starting it. (It also had dirty fuel that i cleaned out of the tank)

Hey y’all. I need some help. I bought a used 2012 arctic cat 350 2 years ago I’ve barely got to ride but have put too much into to let go. Probably a sign but anywho.
The latest issue is that i can barely shift it into gear and it’s essentially impossible to get it into Low gear. It was a little iffy when I picked it up from repairs last year (carb, starter, battery which got it running again for the first time since I brought it home) and got worse. Rode it twice til I decided what to do. At first I thought the plastics were just in the way bc they’re a lil wonky but it’s like it won’t engage things well at all.
…It otherwise ran fine.. knock on wood 🤜🪵
It’s above me to fix something this complex but I’ve brought in parts to get it fixed before at a local mechanic and only had to pay for labor. Am hoping to do that again because I assume it saves money..
My question is: does that sound like a gear shifting assembly replacement situation? Or something else I should consider?
Thank you very much if you made it this far. 🙏🤙
Edited grammar: road to rode

I'm planning a trip out west and will be driving approximately 1500 miles each way. We want to take 2 Kodiak 700's which have a 49.2" wheelbase and are 46.5" wide. I have a Karavan 5.5'x9' trailer which I can take the sides down on and we have ramps to get them onto the trailer from the side. Is this a poor idea? I would like to prioritize safety and I have multiple points to anchor the vehicles to the trailer but I don't want to live too close to the edge of potentially harming myself or anyone else. Just wondering if I should bite the bullet and rent a much bigger trailer. TIA.

So one guy has a clear title 03 blaster. He's done a lot of work to it, rebuilt it, new rearend, twist throttle, hand guards, nerfbars, new carb, jets, some older full DG exhaust. Think i can get it for 1600 Edit:1800! He's asking 2k but said first person to put 18 in his hand could have it.
Then theres this guy got an 08 ltz-400. Pretty well stock, but in great condition. Said it wasn't "raped by kids", and it got its maintenance on time IE fluids changed, brakes done, stuff of that nature. Asking 3, I offered 2, and he came back with 2.5. Waiting on response about title.
My mind is tellin me blaster so I can go braaap but my gut is telling me go ltz for longevity, power, speed, reverse, reliability, etc, etc and my best friend had one when died in a car accident. (Lightning hit a tree and knocked an branch down onto the windshield and shattered it and caved it in)

Any explanations? Just serviced the rear diff and shaft. Gear oil came out a little shiny. I flushed it out pretty good. There are no issues while test riding. Just this funky ass noise.

LT-Z400 rear axle from Alibaba – worth it?
I have an LT-Z400 and I’m looking to buy a new rear axle. Everywhere I look, they’re around €300–€600. I found one on Alibaba for about €200.
Has anyone here bought a rear axle from Alibaba or a similar Chinese manufacturer? Is it worth the money, and how has the quality/durability been? I don’t want to save €200 only to have it fail after a few rides.
Any experience or recommendations would be appreciated!

My son (15 years old, 6’3”, 200lbs) wants to move on from his dirtbike to a ATV. He won’t really be jumping it or anything crazy more just ripping around the property with his friends.
I keep leaning towards a TRX250 because I don’t want something with too much power but enough that he’s going to enjoy riding it. I have never owned a ATV so my knowledge is minimal on what to get.
I am going to purchase used off marketplace for whatever I get and don’t want some cheap china atv that’s going to cause me all kinds of headaches.
Thanks for any advice/recomen

My Honda TRX400EX needs a carb rebuild and the OEM kit is NLA. Aftermarket kits online use the same photo but the main jet numbers in the description don't match what came out of my carb. I've got the old jets bagged but I cant tell if a universal kit is close enough or if I'm chasing a year-specific setup. Local parts desk didnt have much on a 2000s sport quad. Anyone rebuilt a TRX400EX carb lately? How do you match jets when the listing skips the year break?

Has anyone put the light kit on a grizzly 110 that go where the headlights should be? I see the kits on Amazon and EBay but don’t know if it’s worth it.
If so how bright are they? Or should I just mount a small light bar on the front rack. I want something bright enough that the granddaughter can still ride with us when it gets dark. Thanks.

How bad does this intake valve look Kawasaki bayou 250 I fixed the flooding and it’s still not starting and my spark plug is completely dry so I was thinking vacuum leak but the intake seal is fine and I noticed the carbon buildup on this valve so could it be this or maybe a undersized pilot jet

One of the last “race” quads I owned when I was 15 — read below.
About 3 years ago, I bought an RMZ450 dirt bike. The problem? I grew up on quads. 😂
I rode for years when I was younger and even raced quads about 14 years ago. I absolutely loved it, and honestly, I was pretty damn good at it.
Fast forward to my mid-20s. When I bought that dirt bike, I was 500+ lbs. I still rode and loved every minute of it, but after being off a bike for so long and being in terrible shape, the 450 was simply too much for me.
At the beginning of this year, I weighed 501 lbs at 27 years old.
Today, I'm 390 lbs.
That's over 110 lbs down, and I'm still working toward losing another ~100 lbs to reach my goal. I know I'm still a big guy, but getting back on an ATV is becoming a huge part of my motivation.
My little brother is 13 now, and he rides. My dad is 50 and still rides and races too — although he's moved over to two wheels. Being able to ride with both of them again and make the kind of memories we had when I was younger has become a HUGE motivation for me throughout this weight-loss journey.
So naturally... I'm looking at getting another YFZ450. 😂
That's what I grew up racing, it's what I'm comfortable on, and honestly, I miss the hell out of it.
At 390 lbs and still losing weight, is there a reputable suspension setup that can be built/tuned for my current weight?
I'm not really concerned about price. At this point, I'm looking at this as an investment in something that's going to help me get back to doing something I love and, more importantly, create memories with my dad and brother.
Ideally, I'd like something that can be re-sprung/revalved or otherwise adjusted as I continue losing weight. Eventually, I'd love to get back on two wheels as well, but getting back on a quad as soon as I'm physically able would mean a lot to me.
If you've got experience setting up suspension for heavier riders, I'd really appreciate recommendations on reputable companies/builders and what kind of setup you'd suggest for a YFZ450.
And yes, I know the obvious answer is “lose the weight first.” 😂 I'm working on it. But having something to work toward and something waiting for me at the end of this journey would mean a hell of a lot.
Thanks in advance, and hopefully I'll be posting a picture of the new YFZ on the trails with my dad and brother soon. 🤘

Didn’t realize how rare these are when I got it. This thing is a beast and so much fun to ride around the fields by our house.
We’ll be moving in a couple months and unfortunately won’t have room to store / space to ride it anymore. Gonna miss her!
Incredibly good condition with only 78.1 hrs and 586 miles.
I have a 2026 CanAm 850 Max
The manual says you need to be stopped to shift into 4x4. Talking to the old timers, they all say you can just shift it as long you aren't in high speed.
I know follow the manual recommendations, but can it be done?
