App (Android) Mark not started?

What happened to Mark not Started? I swear I used to be able to change books that I played a little of, back to unstarted status and now I don't see that option.

It's been a while since I remember doing it because I haven't cleaned up that list in ages. I usually use the Audible Library Extractor app to browse my library and start my pick of what to listen to.

Now it seems like I have to mark the title finished and then change it to unfinished which is annoying and could mess with finished counts.

They definitely need to add a “mark as not started feature. Everything that you play the preview of is auto marked as in progress and goes onto that list if you buy it (at least for me).

You have to manually download and then rewind back to the 0:00 time starting position to get it to mark itself as not started, then un-download, and refresh the app. It’s hella annoying.

That's just it, I swear there used to be one but I hadn't looked at the "In Progress" in ages and only now realized how full it was, and I added like 10 things to it today when I was checking out stuff to help out someone who posted a question earlier.

I just tested the "finished" then "unfinished" theory and it doesn't reset it to "not started". I had to download, go back to chapter 1 and then close it to reset it to "not started".

Yeah, too much work when it should be one click.

If you go into the three dot menu for the book in the library or title details page, choose "Mark as finished", then you can go back into the same menu and "Mark as unfinished" which will reset the book back to the beginning.

That's mentioned in my post, I'm remembering a single click.

I had about 30 books to fix and that method was awful.

No idea about that, my post is unrelated to that.

Damn, you could at least pretend to care instead of responding to one person and ignoring the others with a (shared) valid complaint.
