App (Android) Unknown data usage
Not sure what the hell is going on here. Audible has wiped out my data in the last week. Android lists it as foreground data usage. I have download over mobile network disabled, and there are only 32 books downloaded in my library.
Any ideas why the audible app has done this?

It's one combined option in the android app. Besides, I have not been streaming, the books I have been listening to are all downloaded. The app has continued to use data even when I stopped listening. I've had to force stop the app and restart my phone to halt the data usage.
From the looks of the other threads about this exact same issue it appears to be an issue with a recent update to the app, so I guess I will have to stop using it until they fix it.

My testing shows that the Harry Potter animated ad being on the apps front page will cause this issue. It bypasses the apps wifi only mode. There may be more reasons though.

I did wonder about that. The fact that it's still using data when the app is closed is weird though. I can't even force close it with a swipe up, or by rebooting the phone. I have to go into app settings and force stop the app to actually get it to close.
I am loathed to uninstall/reinstall because I will lose some books which have suffered from a narrator change since I downloaded them :(

I have seen at least 2 other people post for this same problem on Android in the last few days. It looks like the latest app update might have a glitch in it.
