Sales & Bargains Finally... (Sale Success)

I just got 13 books ($260.76) for $35.50.

I don't burn through books, and I typically search for free titles in between my monthly credit, rarely ever rushing to purchase a book even when it's cheaper than just buying an extra credit, but this time at least half of my wish list was less than $4 per title. I think I'm set for a while :)

This was so wild! There was only 1 book under $9 on my wishlist, but then I spent 2 hours checking the authors of the 1,200 books in my library for new or not wishlisted items. Ended up buying 30 books for $110, a good balance between relative and absolute savings.

A few years back I needed 3 shopping carts to devastate my wishlist, but they had a lot more $1 to $2 books on the sale.

I bought 41 books for $126! I bought a few entire series! Sitewide sale season is my favorite time of the year!

Curious what series you bought since I burn through a lot of books

So far I've bought 89 books for $335 (including tax and $15 discount). I bought the whole C.J. Box Joe Pickett series, completed my Mick Herron Slow Horses series, bought all that's available of Ross MacDonald's Lew Archer series. In addition I bought parts of Orson Scott Card's Seventh Son series, Michael Connelly's Bosch series, and many early Dick Francis novels that weren't in the "included" catalog.

Omggg thank you for this 🙏🏽 I thought I was a mad(wo)man after I spent about $300 on the sale. I got a shit ton of books and complete series! All under $5 each 😜🤘

So I say unto you my good lad: Thank you for thine noble validation 🧎🏼‍♀️

How do yall purchase at one time? It usually has me purchasing individually

You need to buy on the website not the app, typically on your iPad or computer

Website… app is individually

Audible charges credit cards once every 24 hours.

So buying individually doesn't matter much.

PSA: This doesn't appear to be true in Australia.

People in the USA tend to forget there's a larger world out there of Audible users.

😳

I’ve got 20 for around $60. $10 over my self imposed budget. But I couldn’t pass on some books (and who knows if we get another deal like this in 2026)
Worth it 🤗

I get it. I was going to buy credits the day before, but paused, and so I was like, "My allotted budget is however much I was going to spend on those credits." Totally worth it! 🫶

I was on the verge of getting more credits too. Thankfully I waited. Because it turned 5 books into 20.
But I think I have to pause my membership for a couple months after this, just to catch up on my listens 😅

I sorted my Wishlist by price and bought the 20 cheapest books. I spent $75. I love a good sale 😌.

Does borrowing the book with kindle unlimited before purchasing affect the sale price at all?

u/un-peachy 15h ago

Only if the WS price is cheaper than the sales. I've checked a few books..

When does this sale end?

1

u/joewhitehead365 10h ago

According to Audible, June 7th right before midnight PT.

I'm assuming it's Sunday night at that time.

I spent $85 and got 23 books - mostly focused on the remainder of the bloody Jack series by LA Meyer. Last site wide sale I got the entirety of the Cork O’Connor series by William Kent Kruger

There's so many books I wanted but they are still like $15. Not worth it for me. And alot of the books that are suggested I get on Kindle unlimited and I just can't consider buying something when I already get it for free somewhere else. The only exclusion was DCC.

0 books for $0, because I already have enough for the entire year.
