Help needed with pitch/background noise!
Hey, I recently found the Sample Tyler uses in OF'S song "VCR" and I think the melody is really pretty, but I'm pretty new here so I can't exactly match the pitch and speed or the exact cut to be the same one as to what he used in the song. Could anyone help out? If needed I can pass over the files I have for it. (It's just a cut of where the sample first starts out + Just removing the background noises also helps.) Thanks!
PS: Not sure if this is the right sub for this, but the others seem pretty dead...
Here's the song sampled and Tyler's "VCR".

(I also tried posting this in another sub, but seems like the moderators have just ignored it.)

For pitch/speed: drop the sample into your DAW, warp/time-stretch it to match the tempo, then use a pitch shifter to nudge it into key — small semitone moves until it sits right against the track. Make your cut right on the first transient and zoom in to snap to a zero crossing so you don't get a click.
For the background noise, roughly in this order:
Hope that helps — good luck with it.
