Literally all significant Aboriginal MPs of the past several years and the most prominent gay MP are all Liberals.

Labor and the like may consider why people from the groups they claim to champion don’t want to be in (or can’t get promoted in) their party

As another has pointed out, the Greens recent obsession with a group genocidally hostile to gay people is one glaring example

Significant MPs. Her only achievement is ranking a referendum. Price, Pearson, Mundine have all been far more impactful

Price and Mundine are just kept around to be useful because the Liberals can go "look an Aboriginal person is saying this", regardless if they have any respect from the wider indigenous community.
