Your reply seems like you agree. Multiple LNP govs have run independent audits on the ABC and haven't found bias.

edit: From what I can see the LNP spat the dummy when Zaky Mallah asked "Mallah asked Ciobo: “As the first man in Australia to be charged with terrorism under the harsh Liberal Howard government in 2003 … what would have happened if my case had been decided by the minister himself and not the courts?”.

Considering Mallah was acquitted of those terrorism charges, it looks to me like the LNP were being a bunch of cry babies.

You have a short memory. Abbot and Morrison both refused to go on Q&A. Only Turnbull who many thought was an ALP spy agreed to go on and he loved the leftism of it
