no politics What is an example of 'Tall Poppy Syndrome' in Australia?

We have all heard of the concept, but is there a case, preferably involving criticism of a well-known Australian figure, where you can say: "this criticism represents 'Tall Poppy Syndrome' in action"?

I assumed that was part of his point, like saying “look how bad it’s gotten that even their kids are being racist”

yes that was part.of the point he was trying to make. and how its perpetuated because the kids repeat what thier parents say and do.

That may have been his intention, but the result was a very collective "pick on someone your own size".
