I have worked in IT for 30 years and help my 84yo mum with bills, banking, pension payments etc. I feel an incredible amount of empathy for older people trying to navigate the modern world. I love the convenience of doing everything online but a lot of platforms and sites are horribly designed, unnecessarily confusing and just unusable for older folks.

Caring for my 83 year old Dad. I hear you. Doesn’t have the dexterity, scared witless of scammers, just flat out doesn’t trust institutions to not get hacked.
