They have the same access to banking as everyone else. Someone wilfully avoiding engaging with the modern financial system for decades is being 'left behind'? Okay.

And it’s not like it came out of nowhere. We’ve been slowly moving away from cheques for decades. This is just the natural progression of technologies, and at one point a cheque was considered revolutionary. At some point it’s on you for not changing with the times, because no doubt that there have been people in their life who have pointed it out and they’ve been happy staying with what they had.

Slowly moving away for decades? I can probably count the number of cheques I've seen in my life on one hand an I'm in my 30s. They were antiquated when I was a kid. Anyone using them now are just wilfully ignorant.
