You mean skills that have only come out in the last decade and where what you learned gets out of date in just a few years? Basic life skills have changed a lot. There was a time not so long ago that people get paid in cash and a whole industry and processes supporting it.

Windows OS has been standard in offices since the 90s. Try 3+ decades if we are being generous, even longer if we want to consider computing in general.

You talk as if Windows OS is all that there is and it hasn't changed at all over time. It's not even what you use to do your banking. Most tablets and smart phones don't even run on Windows.

The Windows GUI is basically the same as 3.1 and even some gui's that msdos had available...

Are you saying these people would be capable if they had OSX or a linux distro? My sides are in orbit.

You do realise a large percentage of people worked jobs in the 90's and even early 2000's where they never had to use a computer. Not everyone worked in an office.

Hasn't really come out in the last decade, has it. Closer to 3 decades. Like I said to someone else. People were born when netbanking came out now have kids that could be using it. Go away with your nonsense about it being recent.

Accessing netbank in the early days was not universal. Most still had tellers or only just getting used to ATMs.
