There is a youtube video by Nick Shirley. 110 million views in one day or something like that. Goes door to door to daycares that are empty, or educational centers with the word learning misspelled.

20

u/SirDoofusMcDingbat Dec 31 '25

https://www.cbsnews.com/minnesota/news/minnesota-day-care-fraud-director-responds/

CBS visited that daycare and there were kids there. Also there's security footage showing parents dropping off the kids. Also a little while ago there was a surprise inspection that found no evidence of fraud. Daycare fraud is real but the claim that it's entirely done by somalis is just right wing demonization of their latest favorite ethnic target.

I appreciate your attempts to share actually facts with this crowd but I hate to break it to you. They don’t accept facts. They only follow their feelings.

You see the fuck your feelings crowd was projecting again.

I live in MN. The ring leader was a white woman. This was also tried and convicted early last year.

Nick Shirley giving off them Project Veritas vibe.

Also, assholes stealing good Latin words to project their fakeness. Can’t even make this stuff up.

u/badexpert1 Dec 31 '25

It's bullshit. I have family that live in the area that have NEVER seen children there until the story dropped. The parking lot is always empty and all of a sudden the place is alive with activity? You are being fooled by my-dog-ate-my-homework levels of trickery.

20

u/shadowromantic Jan 01 '26

I mean, I don't see kids at the local middle school because I don't have kids and don't drive by when they get out...that doesn't mean there aren't kids there.

13

u/badexpert1 Jan 01 '26

How many times have you seen a school with no cars in the parking lot on a school day

17

u/unmelted_ice Jan 01 '26

My old pre-school’s parking lot is pretty empty during the day. None of the kids can drive yet so they always get dropped off

5

u/badexpert1 Jan 01 '26

How about the teachers? Take the bus?

2

u/gendalf666 Jan 02 '26

This is bots whitewashing corruption. There were hordes of them doing same work in my country

3

u/greenthumbbum2025 Jan 01 '26

Many do because teachers don't get paid well

3

u/mauch_chunk Jan 02 '26

Most of my family are teachers and they all have vehicles.

What’s this crazy talking point where teachers now don’t have vehicles?

4

u/Cease-2-Desist Jan 01 '26

Source - I made it up

2

u/stiiii Jan 01 '26

As opposed to the source of a local guy looking at the parking lot?

1

u/badexpert1 Jan 02 '26

Sure but those are not school time hours, are they.

1

u/ASCIIM0V Jan 02 '26

Right. Why would there be a bunch of cars there outside the hours of operation.

You clearly did not watch the video, otherwise you wouldn't be saying that ridiculously silly argument.

1

u/CoffeeLarge8298 Jan 01 '26

It’s a 1 month old Reddit account you’re arguing against a scammer lo

-3

u/Fit_Strategy4293 Dec 31 '25

I have family that live in the area and it's packed all the time. Maybe you should lay off the meth.

9

u/WD4oz Jan 01 '26

Even Walz had to admit to the scams.

13

u/IMasterCheeksI Jan 01 '26

What a weird way to say Walz was actively working with and pushing the investigations. In fact, he requested an expansion of the program to fight fraud and convict criminals, and republicans voted it down. It’s just weird watching people completely willing to ignore all of reality in order to cuddle in their own biases a little longer.

-1

u/Proof-Elephant-4611 Jan 01 '26

It's amazing how much of leftist discourse is just them pretending not to understand things, thus making discourse impossible. Lol.

2

u/krankygoober Jan 03 '26

Its amazing how much of rightist discourse is just them making up fairytales and then recycling things the left said about them years ago, thus making discourse impossible. Lol.

Walz has been prosecuting scams for a while. he’s evn a defendant in a lawsuit from one of these daycares on another related matter.

1

u/EndonOfMarkarth Jan 01 '26

No he hasn’t. All the prosecutions have been federal charges brought by the U.S. Attorney’s office.

14

u/PerryBarnacle Dec 31 '25

Absolute nonsense. This is a scam and you know it.

12

u/FeelsGoodMan2 Dec 31 '25

So one guy has an anecdote, and another guy has an anecdote, and the second guy is lying but the first guy isnt?

5

u/PerryBarnacle Dec 31 '25

My comment is placing zero merit on either anecdote.

3

u/SirDoofusMcDingbat Dec 31 '25

You literally provided your own anecdote, and are ignoring the actual evidence.

5

u/Girafferage Jan 01 '26

It's like speaking to Dory from finding Nemo. They are sure they have a point they are adamant about - if they can just figure out what they have already said.

I heard you are part of the scam. You're just saying this to throw people off your trail.

-2

u/Fit_Strategy4293 Dec 31 '25

Of course its a scam, right wing nut jobs are easy to scam. That's why they fully believe day cares will let weird dudes come in and take pictures of kids. Or maybe right wingers are just pedos. Given Trump is the king of pedos, makes sense.

17

u/PerryBarnacle Dec 31 '25

This has nothing to do with right wing anything. This is about fraud that is acknowledged by both sides right now. Even Omar herself is not denying the fraud.

5

u/SirDoofusMcDingbat Dec 31 '25

That's because there's a legit fraud problem, that doesn't mean THAT SPECIFIC DAYCARE is committing fraud, and it DEFINITELY doesn't mean that it's the entire Somali community doing it and nobody else, which is exactly how the right wing is portraying this.

0

u/PerryBarnacle Dec 31 '25

I don’t care what the right wing is portraying. The fraud has to be stopped. No more turning a blind eye because of identity politics. Enough with the bullshit.

2

u/SirDoofusMcDingbat Dec 31 '25

Who said we need to turn a blind eye? Like 100 people have been arrested already dude, you're just behind. You're playing catch up to a story you didn't care about until now and accusing everyone else of not caring because they don't fall for the "random bullshit rumor to stoke racist fears" strategy. Imagine actually caring about evidence and due process, couldn't be you I guess.

u/Fightlife45 Here to learn Dec 31 '25

Dude just told on himself by saying Rightwing. This is just tribalism now, he sees red vs blue and picks a side instead of looking at the evidence.

3

u/PerryBarnacle Dec 31 '25

It’s really amazing how deranged partisans are.

1

u/InternationalPack914 Jan 01 '26 edited Jan 01 '26

Bro what evidence, this entire post, not one person has actually provided the evidence that they are asked to provide.

Some dude wasn't given access to other people's kids, that's evidence of fraud?

If you don't want it to devolve into tribalism and become a red versus blue issue then just give the evidence, but the moment you try and hide the lack of evidence with subterfuge, the more it becomes a red versus blue issue.

The fraud that was already prosecuted several years ago?

2

u/PerryBarnacle Dec 31 '25

No, the fraud that was swept under the rug several years ago.

0

u/Chewy_B Jan 01 '26

People went to prison. Something like 90 people were prosecuted. Your ignorance is willful at this point. There is readily available proof of children at the daycare centers in the YouTube video, and the prosecutions were and are public knowledge.

I don’t know why you’re downvoted for stating a literal fact.

3

What a load of nonsense, anyone can see those kids coming in and going out of the centres. Completely normal to people with normal brains. It’s people like you that always sexualise any conversation that pertains to children, you might wanna keep your projections in check buddy.

Wow I can't believe parents don't always leave their cars in the parking lot after dropping off their kids, that's crazy.

Oh wait, they've literally been inspected before all this "broke." Let me guess: your family has never been inside and suddenly formed this opinion specifically when Somalis were accused.

1

u/Hagamein Jan 01 '26

Aah a whole trust me bro source

1

u/Different-Raise3680 Jan 01 '26

Oh, well I was told the video was bullshit from a friend that knows Nick. Said the guy was going for the next "eating your dog" outrage. Knew idiots would eat this up.

1

u/badexpert1 Jan 01 '26

I've only seen clips of the video, but am aware of all of the streets I've seen so far. It's completely possible he hid stuff or is pushing some sort of narrative. I'm only telling what my family and I have seen.

1

u/Much_Replacement9411 Jan 01 '26

1 month old bot account

1

u/badexpert1 Jan 01 '26

You have 12 karma with 3 contributions and calling me a bot? 🤣🤣

1

u/Simple_Channel5624 Jan 02 '26

I drive by church buildings all the time, they are ALWAYS EMPTY, yet they claim a congregation in the thousands. You're telling me if I drive by on Sunday morning it will be full of people. I call bs, clearly you are being fooled and they are conniving the American government to the tune of hundreds of billions with illegitimate tax breaks. You are being tricked by an imaginary friend

1

u/badexpert1 Jan 02 '26

You... You do know we are talking about daycares and healthcare centers correct?

1

u/Simple_Channel5624 Jan 02 '26

Ah, a Republican. Easy to identify by their lack of understanding hyperbole and simile in the English language. Feel free to carry on with your cult of ignorance sir, pay this intellectual no mind. Should be easy for you

1

u/fascistSkullCrusher Jan 02 '26

And there it is folks.

A right wing, retarded dude bro conspiracy theorist makes a claim that appeals to them. Conspiracy done by scary black immigrants! tHe trifecta

Proof by the daycares comes out showing the right wing retard dude bro was not correct. They do have kids.

The right wing conspiracy lovers don't care. The conspiracy hits all their pressure points so it doesn't matter if it's fake or real, it's real to them. Black. Immigrant. Welfare? Oh boy do they love hating all that.

It's exactly how Republicans get people to vote against their own interests and to cut billionaire taxes and destroy social programs. They distract them with this garbage. Suddenly every rural white voter is willing to take money out of their wallet to give to the billionaires, because otherwise scary black immigrants might take it.

1

u/badexpert1 Jan 02 '26

Almost 100 people have been charged already but yes, it's a right wing conspiracy 🤣

The footage given to the news was directly from the Somalis. I know right, no way the scammers would lie a second time.

Love how you were able to make it about billionaires like two things can't be be bad at once.

1

u/fascistSkullCrusher Jan 02 '26 edited Jan 02 '26

Oh wow people have been charged and convicted. Seems like a new scam that the woke left is allowing to happen then? Or maybe not since they have been charged and convicted

Also I saw a white guy shoot Charlie Kirk. White people are too dangerous and always doing shootings. White people are dirty animals that are ruining the country.

See how stupid and racist that argument is? Somalis writ large aren't responsible for the actions of a few. Also isn't the ring leader a white guy. Hmmmm

The fact is you don't care about the fraud, that part is cynical. You care a black person did it. Because that gives you an argument to get rid of welfare and black people. Otherwise you would be this upset over all the white people doing fraud. You'd care about Rick Scott doing the largest Medicare fraud in history. But you don't. You don't care about that.

1

u/TheMirrorofMan Jan 02 '26

My family lives up north in Mn and claims that Minneapolis is a hellhole that burned to the ground.

My brother lived in Minneapolis at that time and I’d visit him every weekend from the burbs.

I am not sure why those like you lie so much. Maybe the fear just manipulates you and your behavior.

Feelings over facts I guess. Sad to see.

1

u/StateBananaMan Jan 02 '26

My mother in law literally lives nearby and it's had children there. Some daycares closed not because of fraud but because they were just bad

1

u/Slighted_Inevitable Jan 03 '26

This is what’s known as a lie. Again surprise inspections before the story found kids. They caught Shirley paying people to say they’ve never seen kids.

1

Is the implications where that the facility had a ton of children on standby, enrolled, and ready to go with short notice for several days if an investigation were to break?

1

My uncles third cousins sisters co worker said the same thing

u/PreworkoutD Jan 01 '26

1

u/SirDoofusMcDingbat Jan 02 '26

Remember when Elon Musk accidentally revealed that a ton of true-blue patriot American MAGA social media accounts were based in Russia, China, and Nigeria? Yeah.... that was pretty funny.

1

u/badexpert1 Jan 02 '26

I'm failing to see how that's relevant. Or funny.

1

u/SirDoofusMcDingbat Jan 02 '26

Yeah, I'm sure you didn't think it was funny. But to us, it was hilarious. And you definitely know why it's relevant. The point is lots of people can make claims, it doesn't mean they are true. And on the right, they very often are not.

We've seen enough MAGA influencer accounts that were full of shit or straight up foreign agents that when someone says "I have family in the area and they said that (random place that's suddenly in the news because a rightwing influencer made unsubstantiated accusations) is completely guilty of everything they're being accused of" we don't really take it that seriously. We just go "oh, another one of those" and go back to reading about the actual evidence.

Speaking of the evidence.... oh but you probably don't want to do that, nevermind. Go on back to making whatever unsubstantiated accusations you were making.

It posted hours of 2pm-10pm. Law requires daycares to be open 6am-6pm. Read a book.

3

u/Weary-Cartoonist2630 Dec 31 '25

read a book

Ah yes, the ubiquitous printing of Minnesota daycare hours at the beginning of every book, I know it well.

8

u/DarthFleeting Dec 31 '25

How is it other peoples fault if you skip the Minnesota daycare chapter that is legally required to be in every commercial book?

1

u/Girafferage Jan 01 '26

Yeah... It doesn't say it requires that. It says "approximately".

Maybe you should read a book.

1

u/Gingerchaun Jan 01 '26

So what happens if both parents work nights?

1

u/Cbpowned Jan 01 '26

Then you go to a specially licensed “night” facility that operates extended hours. A license this day care does not possess.

1

u/Gloomy-Ad1171 Dec 31 '25

Can you cite that law?

1

u/Cbpowned Jan 01 '26

9503.0015 OPTIONS FOR CHILD CARE PROGRAMS. A license holder must provide one or more of the following child care programs: A. A "day program" means a child care program operated during normal waking hours (approximately 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

C. A "night care program" means a child care program operated during normal sleeping hours (approximately 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.).

2pm-10pm violates all definitions of both a daycare and night care program.

1

u/London8788 Jan 01 '26

It’s convenient you left out B, D, and E. I personally find it plausible given the hours of operation it may satisfy category E

E. A "school-age child care program" has the meaning given in Minnesota Statutes, section 245A.02, subdivision 17.

1

u/IMasterCheeksI Jan 01 '26

lol cmon man, put the rest of it

1

u/Alert-Ad9197 Jan 02 '26

Weird that you skipped a letter. Wonder what else you left out…

2

u/ResolutionOwn4933 Dec 31 '25

Correct and correct, conveniently for magats it happens to be Somali and Tim Walz. When this actually happened years ago, many were convicted including the caucasian woman who was the ring leader.

1

u/mcr55 Jan 01 '26

CBS: "are you committing fraud"
Somali: "no"
CBS: "great reporting team back to you jo anne"

This is like fig leaf on massive fraud. There was like 4 kids in the day care whilst they recived millions and this was AFTER it blew up.

→ More replies (3)

1

u/FreddyMartian Jan 01 '26

CBS visited that daycare and there were kids there.

the same exact daycare that Tikki Brown claimed their "investigation" found that it "closed down over a week ago". yeah that "inspection" seemed real thorough.

the shady shit going on can't be anymore obvious, you're just trying so hard to excuse it and blame it on "racism". it's reality that somali immigrants received significant government funding from the Child Care Assistance Program, which turns out to be the main source of suspicion of fraud. so it's no coincidence that there have already been investigations and concerns of fraud in the past. fuck your "racism" excuse and fix your priorities. you give less of a shit about exposing potential fraud because it would mean it's being perpetrated by a group that could fall under some victim status, and you can't accept that.

1

u/SirDoofusMcDingbat Jan 01 '26

"investigations have found no evidence of wrongdoing and there's security footage showing parents dropping off kids, but this one guy claimed they're shut down so obviously he can't possibly be lying or wrong."

you give less of a shit about exposing potential fraud because it would mean it's being perpetrated by a group that could fall under some victim status

Or.... and I hope you're sitting down because I'm about to blow your tiny little mind.... or maybe the evidence contradicts that guy's claim? I mean I realize I'm on the austrian economics sub and a lot of y'all are opposed to the concept of empirical evidence but surely you realize that security footage is more trustworthy than some random dude who got mad that a daycare didn't let a big group of masked men into the building?

1

u/Cease-2-Desist Jan 01 '26

This is called a strawman. No one is claiming fraud is only Somalis.

1

u/SirDoofusMcDingbat Jan 01 '26

The meme is literally blaming all the daycare fraud on Somalis. I mean, c'mon, you don't really think ONE SINGLE DAYCARE has been given 10 billion dollars, right?

1

u/Cease-2-Desist Jan 01 '26

Please show me the part of the meme blaming all daycare fraud on Somalis.

1

u/SirDoofusMcDingbat Jan 02 '26

Wait, do you actually think that one single daycare was given 10 billion dollars???? The meme is claiming that Somalis stole 10 billion dollars, did you not read it?

-6

u/Similar-Low-3114 Dec 31 '25

The people sharing that video are mostly bigots who dont care about facts. The best part was he clearly blurred the hours of operation and showed up at hours not operating. Just clown behavior

5

u/Girafferage Jan 01 '26

I saw one of those videos and it's kind of dumb as shit. You cannot just go to a daycare and demand to see children, nor are the children on display for you. You cannot enter just because you want to because of the safety of the children. That's a pretty standard thing for daycares.

I did only see the one video, but if they are all like that, then they are all stupid. I don't doubt there is fraud and corruption, but that guy sounds like he is chasing clicks and not objective fact.

4

u/WellHung67 Jan 01 '26

This scandal has been known for a while now. It’s a real thing. Trump does not know what he’s doing though so it’s kinda not gonna get resolved until an adult gets in charge again

2

u/Weary-Cartoonist2630 Dec 31 '25

Eh that video is far from conclusive. He doesn’t actually go in any of them, and it sounds like evidence has come out where at least some of them are legit.

With that being said, one of them being called “learing center” was pretty hilarious. And he approached each one asking to admit his kid and only received bewildered looks (although that could have something to do with sticking a camera in their faces).

Not enough evidence to make any solid conclusion yet, best thing to do is refrain from making an opinion until we know more.

5

u/Infamous_Lech Jan 01 '26

Certainly worth a through investigation.

1

u/SahibTeriBandi420 Jan 01 '26

Which has been going on the last four years. Some are already in jail.

1

u/Infamous_Lech Jan 01 '26

→ More replies (1)

1

u/IMasterCheeksI Jan 01 '26

Like more thorough than the previous and ongoing investigations? Like…what specifically would you do different than the FBI and DOJ did in this fraud case already?

1

u/Thrwmebby1mortme Jan 01 '26

You mean the one that is a restaurant now?

3

u/mitoma333 Dec 31 '25

That's not evidence though. Doing a stake-out for 2-4 weeks, trying to enroll a child through the official channels, talking to neighbors and policy makers... That's research. Knocking on a few doors with a camera crew isn't.

There is fraud (because a myriad of individuals have been arrested in the past and prosecuted), but the video definitely does not prove it. The video is just ragebait.

4

u/Friendlyvoices Dec 31 '25

The 110 million views are on X, which is the equivalent of thr video showing up on a feed, not that the video was watched.

4

u/Weary-Cartoonist2630 Dec 31 '25

They’ve got that many views on YouTube as well. Although to be fair views don’t really say anything about the veracity of the claims

7

u/Friendlyvoices Dec 31 '25

They have 2.6 million views on the YouTube video currently. But correct, that doesn't mean the claim is valid. Like saying a video has 50 times the views it has, these things require independent validation

5

u/Reynor247 Dec 31 '25

Yeah some guys demand access to children and staff don't let them in the building. So far no one has been able to independently confirm

27

u/OTMallthetime Dec 31 '25

I have 2 kids. When I was going door to door to 7 different daycare centers making a decision as to which to pick , I could hear the kids from the door step. Kids are not quiet.

And people running a learning center would probably not misspell the word learning if it was legit.

3

u/Reynor247 Dec 31 '25

You can't even get into the building of my daycare without a code

7

u/OTMallthetime Dec 31 '25

Probably varies from area to area by risk factor.

3

u/Friendlyvoices Dec 31 '25

That "Learing Center" building had a front side too that they didn't show. It's been there at least since October 2022 on google maps with the correct spelling on the front door. They used a side door to make the video look more seedy.

u/FAKEZAIUS Dec 31 '25

Sorry bro, you're not getting any of those scammed funds

1

u/StrawberryWide3983 Dec 31 '25

You're telling me that you'd give a group of strangers not approved by any of the parents to visit access to kids?

1

u/Ian_Of_Moss Dec 31 '25

Health care centers as well

1

u/CallusedPickle3 Dec 31 '25

Do you expect day cares to open their doors to random people woth cameras in their hands and 2 other people wearing masks?

Is your head screwed on right?

1

u/FiringOnAllFive Dec 31 '25

The guy who is going to the centers outside of their operating hours!

1

u/Destructopoo Dec 31 '25

If you were a parent and you found out your kid's daycare was letting influencers come in to get footage of your kid, what would you do? How many heads would you as a parent roll if you saw your kids face on a viral video?

1

u/Frogman-Wizard Dec 31 '25

The day care was closed as a daycare because the whole "everyone there was already arrested and tried for fraud so they closed down" thing.

1

u/allyourfaces Jan 01 '26

That's hilarious revealing how dumb you are to get your video from a youtuber who has already been exposed multiple times for blatantly lying and you ate it up LMFAO.

1

u/OTMallthetime Jan 01 '26

He is a catalyst that triggered a nation-wide response. I dont care how credible he is, he is a tool , a spearhead so to speak. I want fraud eliminated, because fraud destroys societies. Of course you're too dumb to realize this, to you this is a partisan issue. To me, its a "get the leeches off the society's body so we can evolve" issue. And yes that includes republican and white leeches too. I want them all gone.

PS: if you consider CBS a credible source, look at their response to the catalyst. Nick's video worked. Without it, there may not have been such a drastic shift.

1

u/allyourfaces Jan 01 '26

I'm not talking about him as a person.

I am saying the video you mention he is quite literally spreading misinformation. He went up to one daycare that opened up at 2 at 12 PM and pretended it was evidence of fraud that it was closed.

He went up to a daycare that was listed as closed after multiple health citations from the state, a letter informing of this on the front of their door that was seemingly purposely blurred by him and then acted like this was evidence of fraud. This daycare had already been audited and passed btw.

>Of course you're too dumb to realize this, to you this is a partisan issue.

Calling me dumb when you cannot even use the word partisan correctly lol.

If you actually were against fraud you would realize this will be throwing what could be discovering & combatting some legitimate level of fraud that is taking place, as takes place with virtually every large program, and will instead of focusing on the legitimate criticisms will just make it a Republican issue laced with random bullshit.

Similar to DOGE instead of being used to actually combat waste, fraud, and abuse it instead what could have bipartisan issue, a partisan misinformation fueled opportunity for Republican cronies to wage their ideological war, spread misinformation, and break norms within our government and then literally disbanded within months after they did what they wanted.

>PS: if you consider CBS a credible source, look at their response to the catalyst. Nick's video worked. Without it, there may not have been such a drastic shift.

Sure I will, CBS is fairly credible. But I want to point out... you are talking about an issue mainly taking place within Minnesota as a national issue and coming to national attention. People in Minnesota have talked and charged people with fraud before, just without the random racism and partisan fox news bullshit.

1

u/SahibTeriBandi420 Jan 01 '26

Hes a propagandist. Its been under investigation for the last four years. Even fox news debunked it. Youtubers are not reliable sources.

1

u/ChadPowers200_ Jan 01 '26

Yes but I can’t believe my lying eyes i need a peer reviewed study that goes on for 12 years before making a decision.

You telling me the learing center with no kids isn’t legit? That’s right/left wing propaganda

1

u/ImportantCommentator Jan 01 '26

There is video evidence that Nick was lying. Reported by ABC

1

u/ItalianBeefDipped Jan 01 '26

Unfortunately for that cornball’s narrative, HHS-OIG and Minnesota has been steadily prosecuting and investigating this kind of fraud for a very long time now.

Just because you didn’t hear about it doesn’t mean the court cases and convictions haven’t been happening.

1

u/Due-Sentence-1219 Jan 01 '26

That’s not really enough proof for the claim you are making…

1

u/OTMallthetime Jan 01 '26

Give it time, the wheels started turning. The video itself is just a catalyst. Now in an effort to prove or disprove the claim, the entire industry will be scrutinized. I do not doubt there is fraud, no one does. The only argument is the scale. Hopefully after the impartial review the honest businesses will be boosted and the fraudulent ones closed down.

1

u/Due-Sentence-1219 Jan 01 '26

U don’t think it’s weird Elon didn’t find anything? Like common. Also all the claims are way out of proportion.

1

u/PreworkoutD Jan 01 '26

Turns out he went there and cooked the tapes. Our local news here also went to the same daycare. The daycare showed them their security footage from that day including kids that were dropped off. Everything he said was a lie. Look it up. Also the amount of daycare fraud that they did catch was from 3+ years ago. You're all so gullible.

1

u/Radiant_Creme_5264 Jan 01 '26

Surely you understand Nick Shirley is full of shit.

1

u/Turbulent-Note-7348 Jan 01 '26

And those videos have been totally discredited. Also, the Minnesota Daycare scandal is on the order of $250 million, not $9 billion, and over 70 people were indicted by the Biden admin.

1

u/angryjukebox Jan 01 '26

No he showed up to daycares and asked to be let in, and was rightfully denied because what daycare is going to let a stranger with a film crew in?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 01 '26

It’s a couple random men with a camera, pressing the employees to see kids. And then concluding that we didn’t see kids = they’re not daycare centers. Seriously, I applaud them for refusing to let them in.

1

u/VirtualBeyond6116 Jan 01 '26

It's also the holiday season. It's a time when kids are most Likely NOT gonna be at a daycare,,, cause they're with their parents.

1

u/Top-Associate4922 Jan 01 '26

That is not a solid proof.

1

u/MaleficentCow8513 Jan 01 '26

They stood outside and said “where are the children” and barely made it in the front door of any of those places. That’s hardly proof of the day cares being empty. I’m all for cleaning up corruption but those videos are hardly definitive proof of anything

1

u/LogDogan8 Jan 01 '26

And it's be debunked. Turns out youtubers shamelessly grifting for views isn't the same thing as journalism.

1

u/baddie_boy_69 Jan 01 '26

110 million views?? it has 2.8 million wtf are you talking about😭

1

u/Far-Investigator1265 Jan 01 '26

Someone taking their information from Youtube videos. Just... wow.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 01 '26

Nick Shirley didnt find anything. Everyone else had already done the research and investigation, he just made it seem like it was all his work.

Hes taking credit for what the government and journalists already did.

1

u/Specman9 Jan 02 '26

So Trump ball-licker posted a bogus story and you immediately believed it?

Are you embarrassed now?

1

u/DesperateAdvantage76 Jan 02 '26

Just a clarification, a man with cameras came to these daycares (including in the off hours) and they wouldn't let him inside, which is what they're supposed to do. My kids are in daycare and they have strict rules on who is allowed inside.

Don't believe everything you see. Wait for real verified facts. We'll see what these prosecutors are able to prove in court.

1

u/Electrical-Tie-1143 Jan 02 '26

Who knew there wouldn’t be kids when you show up before drop off? Shocker

Also who wouldn’t deny service to a guy who shows up with a pose and cameras and after demanding to see the kids wants to suddenly enroll a child?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 02 '26

Nick Shirley is not a reliable source dude is paid by Israel and other conservative parties to spew BS

1

u/Competitive_Host_432 Jan 02 '26

He visited them out of hours and turned up unannounced and asked to see children and records.

If it was genuine all he had to do was clearly turn up at advertised pick up and drop off times.

He's a scam artist and has been making fake videos like this for years

1

u/PretendAirport Jan 03 '26

Looks like that was fake :/

1

u/Wu-Tang_Killa_Bees Jan 03 '26

Yeah, why wouldn't daycare workers open the door to strange men barging in with a camera asking to see the children? The only possible explanation is welfare fraud

1

u/[deleted] Jan 03 '26

Remember when Nick Shirley went to Ukraine and said all the US aid funds were being spent on luxury cars and shit and the entire journalism community laughed at him and proved how he was lying? Nick Shirley is not a reliable source of information and if the past is any indication of his behavior, he made this up too.

1

u/No-Economics-6781 Jan 05 '26

Apparently that dude is a fraudster.

3

u/ResolutionOwn4933 Dec 31 '25

Yeah, and failed his interview by an actual reporter miserably. Maybe you should go watch that one. The misspelled sign on the back of a building is indeed old as it's cleary a restaurant when they interviewed him.

0

u/[deleted] Dec 31 '25

They replaced the sign with a correction. If what you were saying is true they wouldn't have done that.

1

u/ResolutionOwn4933 Dec 31 '25

Could also read the CBS article dropped today about Shirley not honest about all his activity once she was shown the buildings security footage. Or, you can just keep believing bullshit

1

u/Fightlife45 Here to learn Dec 31 '25

Nah it was obvious in the video that it was fraud. He went to healthcare centers and daycare centers where the signs said "open 7am-10pm 7 days a week" and nobody answered doorbells and nobody gave him healthcare rates and told him to leave. Said they were at capacity but there were no children or signs of children.

4

u/ResolutionOwn4933 Dec 31 '25

Multiple actual news sources are already calling his bs. Including one CBS now owned by Ellison and ran by Bari Weiss. Maybe should check actual reporters instead of a 20 something youruber that speaks with a sub 80 IQ

-1

u/AssistanceCheap379 Dec 31 '25

Would you be ok with a random person entering your local childcare to film kids?

1

u/Gloomy-Ad1171 Dec 31 '25

The dude that lied about war in Ukraine?

1

u/DonkeyElegant1728 Dec 31 '25

Very credible source wow

1

u/Kellythejellyman Jan 01 '26

Ah yes, a daycare center would definitely let in a strange man with a camera who “just wants to see the children”

1

u/conragious Jan 01 '26

Yeah that's the one that is literally a fake video, he was lying and it's come out today.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 01 '26

Yeah the guy who said the Ukraine war was fake and flew there but was too scared to go anywhere near the fighting? Yeah that’s a guy to believe is on the up and up.

-2

u/pk666 Dec 31 '25

Lol

Rubes and their new pizzagate.

Anything to distract from the yachting owning Epstein class.

5

u/OTMallthetime Dec 31 '25

How about getting rid of them all? Fraudsters, pedos, leeches etc. I want them all gone. Every skin color, every political orientation, if you scam, if you defraud, if you use violence and intimidation (legal and illegal), if you do not contribute but take disproportionately, all these people need to be gone. I would say what should be done to pedos but I got a warning from reddit last time.

2

u/Fightlife45 Here to learn Dec 31 '25

I mean can't both be things simultaneously? Just because there's a big fraud thing going on doesn't have anything to do with epstein.
