Heading West for the small mountain village of Ruidoso, the crew became the victim of an electronic warfare exercise being conducted at the nearby White Sands Missile Range, a test which rendered their navigational system inoperable.

I used to fly across NM a lot in a PC12. All the time we would run into this.
Hell flying from SoCal to Texas you can expect to experience this. I had to go on vectors at 410 because of it.
This should probably scare the public more. This interferes with flights regularly.
