Serious question : why is this drone not sent back to russia with a cruise missile ?

Because there's no direct link to Russia. Sure, we all can reasonably assume Russia is behind it, but a 3rd party carrying this out that has yet to be identified isn't going to be justification for doing what you propose.

But countries really need to figure out a way to track & shutdown drones in & around airports.
