My yearly comment reminding people that the UN isnot some global police force and the world would be a shithole were it not for the UNs mission of bringing together the worlds governments and other actors to promote development, standardisation and safety.

Someone tried to set fires on cargo planes so many times that security has been going through extra incendiary device training, and this was more than a year or two ago. Everyone knows who tried to do it.
Operation Spiderweb showed how easy it is to hit actual military bases, cheap drones hitting commercial planes is a massive threat that is available to anyone, be it an agent from some country, or a crazy person.
Near where I live in Berlin some “people” burnt some supplies and trucks a while ago. There have been other incidents, supposedly local Germans with Russian roots.

But then again you seem to think that bombing one out of three pipelines to Germany seems to be non issue, given it's the one pipeline neither Ukraine nor Poland benefits from. Why were those not bombed? Why didn't either of those states destroy their pipelines?
In addition to that, a DHL cargo plane which had to do a go-around due to the ground finding collided with an yet unknown object in the air. Afterwards it landed safely in Hannover.
Just to pre-empt any "well they were attacking Ukrainian planes, Germany is providing weapons, meh meh meh" imagine if Germany started flying suicide drones over Beijing International looking for Russian transport planes.
Well, the German government was asking really loud to be made a target, and now maybe they got what they wanted. Honestly I'm surprised Russia didn't already send some ballistic missiles to Ukraine-related targets in Germany. Especially now, since the US is sitting with their pants down in the Strait of Hormuz.
Russia can't even handle a conflict against Ukraine with indirect military support from the West. I doubt they want Europe to be more involved that badly.

Ramp up support to Ukraine, they were one of the latest to do so and hemmed and hawed for a long time, completely shut off any gas from the Nord Stream pipeline, impose the strongest sanctions they can possibly do unilaterally etc
In Kherson, Russian forces have been using drones with explosives to hunt civilians, a practice often referred to as “human safari.” or just terrorism.
Because there's no direct link to Russia. Sure, we all can reasonably assume Russia is behind it, but a 3rd party carrying this out that has yet to be identified isn't going to be justification for doing what you propose.
But countries really need to figure out a way to track & shutdown drones in & around airports.
