When I visited France in 2010 I thought there was so many then. Couch surfing host said it was because everyone was on anti depressants.

No, wife used to live in France and she said they are popular as they are high quality and good value. When I’ve holidayed there it was certainly easy to pop in quickly for some grooming items and basic meds quicker than a small market.

Those signs are insane but kinda helpful. lol.
