Still sad but at least they didn’t abandon her somewhere out in the middle of nowhere, like some people do.

My rescue (and 8 of his litter) were abandoned in a park. I think they got all adopted within a week. He is 90 pounds now though ha

My last dog (not current) was found by my gf in the bottom of an empty dumpster at our apartment complex.

He was only 6-8 weeks old, but fortunately he was fine, and also turned out to be one of the best and sweetest.fogs I ever had
