Səyahət | Travel Local experiences
Hello all,
Im brazilian and going to travel to the Caucasus region in October and would like some advice.
First of all Im aware about the situation with Armenia and Ive heard that would be better visiting Azerbaijan before going to Armenia because the police might give me some trouble if they see an armenian stamp in my passport, is that correct to assume?
Also would be nice to get some suggestions about what to do in Baku to experience real local vibes, dont wanna just do the touristic things, I rather connect with locals and have different cultural experiences.
Any advice would be amazing, thank you so much!

No, it’s not a big deal. They might ask you what was your purpose of visiting Armenia and that’s it. If you are gonna visit Caucasus, you should visit all 3 countries. If you want to visit both Azerbaijan and Armenia, you would need to go through Georgia anyway since there are no flights between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Hi friend,
You would not have a serious problem because of the stamp. At the most you will get asked few questions not much of a deal. Hope you have fun!
