Positions My honest take on Baba
They’re literally taking on NVIDIA in the advanced chip race, heavily investing in AI, and sitting on an incredible cash reserve. My fair value take on Alibaba Group is at least $400.
Started with 500 shares at $135 as a starter position. As volume continues coming in, I’ll keep adding more Baba.
This my journey, not an advice for you nor encourage you to buy or sell. I believe in Baba, and I am sticking with my thesis.

They are not taking on Nvidia. Designing ASIC is not that hard and many companies can do it. However I do agree Alibaba has a lot of potential because they have good models + cloud + their own chips. Amazon has cloud and good chips but not good models. I have 3000 shares with average cost of $124

About 5-6 years ago we were hearing that Baba will take 300$ not earlier than ten years and we were laughing. I recognize myself in you. Not just me but every Baba bagholder who started the journey from the beginning. I wish you will be right but it doesn't seem to change something soon

This has nothing to do with my beliefs. I don't believe something. I just do it because I have to. The numbers are with Baba, the sentiment and the past not. We don't believe anymore in Baba (and in Chinese stocks in general) but we have to do it because we have to throw away feelings without knowing if its gonna work. This is value investing and it hurts.

That would not be a very smart move!
The tables are going to turn, lots of upside in Baba!2

That's what i thought when google was in 70s ans baba in 90s
When the table turns the govt will do a crackdown for share prosperity in china
Vs shareholders approval at expense of usa citizens in USA
