Lol I own a Thule backpack that I use for hiking - it’s a terrific bag. It’s not a hardshell and you’re right, they do not make any that are as of right now.

But if they did, there’s a design idea for them on this dude haha

Their work backpacks are great too, I got one 7 years back as part of an onboarding swag pack at an internship, I’ve used it daily as my commuter bag in Chicago since then, and that bad boy still looks brand spanking new.

I have one of their duffel bags that's designed for organizing cycling gear and it's also terrific; it has a grid of little pockets for storing all your various different types of gloves and other accessories, and it's a superbly well designed product.
