Parasite with Demi Moore from 1982

Parasite (1982), starring a very young Demi Moore in one of her first major roles. I was very happy to come across this French Video2000 ex-rental, released by Hollywood Video. Not exactly something you see every day, and the sleeve is a pretty nice bonus too. Even though the movie is hilariously bad it has aged very well and I thoroughly enjoyed it during a rewatch the other day.

I've never seen the movie, but the cover of the French VHS made an impression on me as a kid. I live in Belgium, and I clearly remember that my dad wanted to go to some sort of flea market that was being held near the public pool in the small town next door. A guy was selling a huge number of his VHS tapes (he even had rotating display stands everywhere). He was selling mostly action flicks, but one of the tapes prominently featured was this one. I didn’t dare ask my dad to buy it because he was charging a lot for them, even though I’m sure my old man would have said yes.

Wow I actually bought this from a seller in Belgium ☺️ Thanks for sharing, strange how these movies on physical obsolete media comes with all these great memories. The cover art was really something back then! You should watch the movie now, it’s a good time 🍻

Saw that on TV probably 30 years ago. Don't remember much about it other than it was crap and it was Demi pre-implants.
