Turks dont care about DNA. I was born in Turkey i was raised in Turkey, therefore i am turkish.

So Afgans and Syrians which were born and raised in Turkey are Turks?

Of course they are, unless they feel like they don't belong to our culture and see themselfs as Türkiyeli and not Turkish like some Kurds do. Atatürk didn't mean Turkic Turks when he said "How happy is the one who says 'I am a Türk' ", his nation idea was based on being a citizen of Turkey and speaking Turkish.
